Even with two public holiday days in a row I barely got time to play! Jeez. Bloody life admin, innit.

Rocksmith is honestly such a great feedback mechanism - I'd been iffy about my playing away from it, then I jump on, jam out some songs and it's nice to get that instant accuracy feedback. Esp when it improves lol. 

Great song choices on the Rhythm Adv. and Coroner MC Bass btw - more of that please!

Dont worry about that, you had a great time! I Missed at least 3-4 weeks due to travelling to the UK and dont regret it one bit  Just means some catch-up is in order

Quick review:
The show was great, the sound was great, and I had a great time.  This was the second time I've seen them and both times they did deliver (deliverance as the final song). I'd recommend seeing them to anyone, including my parents (60+) who actually went and also had a great time (it was their first metal concert).

Opeth are amazing live! I saw them earlier last month at ArcTanGent Festival in the UK. It was my....8th time seeing them haha. Always a treat live. Mikael is super funny and theyre always on-point musically.

So I ended up just trying without capo for Rhythm. The audio levelling on the PJ Harvey tab seems a bit quiet.

Bass MC - 96.9%

Lead Adv - 84.8%

Rhythm Adv - 80.1%

I also got 80% on my first go on Heir Apparent (Rhythm) which I tried for funsies - bass definitely helped i think! 

I can't do Sheela Na Gig on Rhythm. Asks for Capo and then won't work with or without the capo.  

Maybe just count me out of Rhythm Advanced for this week I guess, and I'll give Heir Apparent a crack now before i put the guitar and bass down for the evening/week (well for you guys - I'm usually asleep when the forum week ends!)

I love Heir Apparent! Definitely keen to be giving this one a bash on bass.

I *could* clear it on lead and Rhythm but I will stay in my lane for R (Adv) and L (Adv) until I improve my guitar chops haha.

Ended up on hospital last night (long story, I'm Ok) but that means i missed submitting   damn timezones.

Since I last posted I moved house, immediately went over to the UK for two weeks on a pretty full-on holiday. Literally just got back a couple of days ago- slept 18hrs yesterday and woke up to give these ones a go!

As Eminem sang in 8 Mile, I only had one shot for this week, seeing as ive been organising moving etc.

So I gave them a red hot go as focused as I could.

Adv Lead - 96.8%

Adv Rhythm - 96%

MC Bass - 98.3%

Another hectic week for me this week with very little time to play, but thankfully didn't forget all 3 submissions (all Maximum the Hormone).

All last week wasnt able to play since my partner needed a lot of help post-surgery. Then I get COVID this week so been too sick to play.

Anyway - today's the first day i can get out of bed. I start playing and I'm really gunning it! 99.1% on Pteropticon! 99% on the Omnium Gatherum track!

... guess who forgot to screencap both those scores?!

What I did manage to screencap was the Advanced Rhythm, and Masterclass/God of Bass.

I got 99.98% on my second/third run of Pteropticon and forgot to screen it. DOH!

Escape Velocity - Lead - 94.74% (Score)

The Blackening (Full Album) - Rhythm - 46.1% (not bad for my first and only run so far tbh)

Heaven and Hell (Full Album) - Bass - 94.3%

Unfortunately, the only one I don't have the actual DD screen for is Muses' Compliance on Bass, which is ironically the only challenge tier I'm consistently trying to competing in - call it ADHD tax. Anyway, i only have the Score Attack score for Bass there, it was 92% but if it needs screenshot evidence i am happy to be marked off for this week.

Ah well. Time to go watch some real music live and hope i dont cop the 'rona. Have a great weekend yall, happy playing
