My rocksmith cable decided it likes lots and lots of gain, or maybe just feedback.  So tomorrow I'll be trying to finish my week with the acoustic and my mic.  What could go wrong?

Alright finished getting the 100% I wanted on the Gary Moore tune, and have finally realized I probably shouldn't play that much bass when I already have visible blisters.  On to the guitar parts for the week!

Welp let's start this thing off with bass night. Unfortunately after 2 hours now I have to let my plucking fingers heal a bit, So guess I'll grab the guitar, or  maybe I'll work on a little touch up on the set up, it's been awhile.  Next time I should pay more attention.  Little more practice and I think I can 100% that Gary Moore song, but it's quite long. Not bad for a first nights work I think.

Alright, mostly bass and my first few tries at the Neil Young lead part.  Just to say I'm not a music snob, and I'm not a big fan of Neil Young, but at least it's something I can work through.  On the other hand the Konrad song the first listen through I thought it was horrible and the second I nearly had an anxiety attack so I'm probably going to delete that one from my library and never speak of it again. . . then again I am a bit sick this week already.  Yup still deleting it, well eventually I'll have to make hard drive space.

Wow dismal improvements this week.  I just can't get those chord transitions going, D to Cm to A. Sounds like crap, I can hit D then if I skip the Cm then hit the A I can get a nearly passable score, but then of course it doesn't sound much like the main riff of the song anymore.  Probably work on it one more time this week, then put it in my practice rotation just for the three damn chords.

Hail all from the land of mediocrity. Started out knowing two of the chords from the lead and rhythm part.  Looks like I have a long way to go making the transition from chord to chord on this song, but once I have it down it should help both the lead and rhythm.

Bass part is fun, still some work to go though.

Well good news, I know where I want my hands to go.  Bad news can't get them to land there fast enough.  At least I've got a 10% improvement so far this week.  Aiming for 80% at this point for this week, but heck I've got two more days, we'll see where it goes.

Anyone else having issues with the latest windows update?  Suddenly I'm getting all kinds of feedback on my cable that I wasn't before.

Man I love bass day. Get that great finger stretch and makes me feel like I can feel the frets on my guitar much better afterward.  Need to practice that Stones one more. It's more my speed and something I won't get irritated from after listening to it the first time.

Now to do some rhythm stuff, just because I know it makes me better in the long run. Kinda like taking your vitamins in the morning.
