I had to buy cherub rock for $2.99 on steam for remastered, downloaded the all capital D3DX9_42.dll, I put it in my Rocksmith folder, then my steamapps custom rocksmith folder, then into the dlc folder itself since someone said they got it working by putting in dlc folder. Not everyone got theres working still, someone mentioned to make sure rocksmith is installed in steam folder, but mine I actually installed into C:\Rocksmith before I read to install into steam folder, either way, it works, had no problems once I bought cherub rock and downloaded the all capital dll. $2.99 was a small price to pay and was worth it to me.
