didn't have a huge amount of time this week to practice but have played Servitude and Underwear again with slightly improved results. I kinda like the Underwear song but I am not sure if I like the bass line that much enough to play it to perfection and I'm working an early shift today so won't have time to submit anything else before the new week is in... @ Hand size shouldn't really be too much of an issue, your fingers, if they're short will make quicker contact with the strings so they'll be more nimble which is well suited to lead guitar... as for bass... Victor Wooten has real small hands and has no trouble melting faces :)

Maybe they've forgotten what it was like when in your first couple of years or some folk are just blessed with the supplety of an infant :) I have heaps of friends young and old, pro and beginner and nearly all of them, despite experience on differing levels, have had some discomfort in some way, shape or form... not saying your friends are fibbing but, I think perhaps they've not found a song that gives them such issues and are playing rather basic songs ... orrrrr, they're all LIARS :lol: (supplety is not a word apparently :( but it should be a word! /grumble... if you need my language translating into the queen's English you might want to ask @@albatross213 :) .)

@ I tend to get hand pain when playing at the lower end of the neck. What helps me is to slow the track down to a steadier pace and walk through the notes until it's comfortable... tweaking my hand position and relaxing my grip too helps. Speed up gradually but rest a little too so you don't strain any tendons. It might not be good for me but, I keep playing until it doesn't hurt anymore but, if someone with more knowledge than me advises otherwise don't keep playing, take their advice :) I don't want to damage you by giving irresponsible advice... this is just how I practice and try to overcome discomfort, it works for me but like I say, I might be going about it all wrong :)

@@missis sumner switswoo! :) that's a fine selection of bass' make that sand rock at the beach :D ... I desperately want another but I canne justify it due to The Man taking my money! :D

Well when I download the correct version you may even have a winning score still... when I said about the challenge I thought you were going to try the MC bass track. :) you may find yourself ranked up to bass master class too though as it's not a particularly difficult one so keep that in mind if you want to stay as an advanced participant ... though you probably would do ok there tbh :)

Belated birthday wishe's fripples ! No score updates for me. Work took over and now the kids are monopolising my time (which is much more funner ) so we're off out for the day to watch some live music at the park, eat ice creams, play on the beach and go watch a movie... maybe I might treat them to a meal out too. It was a toss up between new strings for my bass and new running shoes, or, all of the above. I hope I chose wisely :) May the best win... see you all post 8pm :)

If you use OBS or any video editing software I highly recommend you backup your old OS as it doesn't seem to be compatible whatsoever with Windows10 yet. A lot of people have had similar bugs of the toolbar disappearing and start menu not functioning (plus reappropriation of sound hardware slots amongst other things) There again you may be one of the lucky ones who get no problems :) I hope it goes smoothly with a capital "SMOO" for you LDuperman! :)
