I believe this was taken up as a possibility for an update, but don't know where it ended up.  I also posted a similar message.  I typically only download songs with DD and multiple difficulty levels.  The old search tool showed the difficulty levels and I always thought this was very helpful.  I normally would not download a song that had only one difficulty level.  I am a relative beginner.

     

    If a cdlc is listed as having DD but only one level, that doesn't mean there is only one difficulty level.  It just means that the creator didn't list how many difficulty levels there are and left the default number of "1" in the box.  It's impossible to have DD and only one level of difficulty.  By nature, the DD adds multiple levels.

  2. ok so now Im working on 96 tears and cant find my home. Sadly 96 tears has maybe 4 bars of guitar work, and Cant find my way , the tabs are short on the guitar work aswell.

    If you've got the same Can't Find My Way Home tab as I do, it starts off okay and then gets a little goofy.  I never could piece it together right.

  3. I, too, would like to get rid of the endless "Thank you!" posts in the CDLC-comments. But on the other hand I don't want to miss real discussions about the songs, so I guess I will keep subscribed :(

    Would be nice to have the "Thanks" button on the CDLC page to encourage people to use that instead of a post...

     

    Agreed, need a thanks button on the record page to clear up posts and streamline notifications.

  4. Hello,

     

    I just started having this problem when I installed r1372.  When I try to enter any sort of data into a window, I first have to click on the window, then I can enter my fret hand number, slide to number, etc.  Before, when I opened a window, I could just type straight away, hit enter, and be done.  Any way I can change this?

In RS Toolkit, under tones, click on 'import'.  Then choose the psarc file of the song that has the tone you want.  The tones from that song will show up in the 'tones' window.  Then change the tone in the arrangement and click 'generate'.  There is no separate folder that the tones are stored in.

    I tried creating one of my songs from a saved package and I got this error.  I created the song yesterday with no error and it works fine in RS.  I tried importing the song and then creating the song from the imported files, and I get the same error.  I also tried creating the song from scratch but got the same error.  The Toolkit worked fine with this song last night but not today.  I did download the update for the Toolkit this morning and I tried generating some of my other songs from saved packages and importing and they work fine, just this song.  The song is here if you need it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Simplest way to change tone is to use "import" on bottom of RS Toolkit Creator to import song.  Then click "import" under tones and pick song with new tone you want.  Then change whichever arrangement you want to the new tone and click "generate".  If that still doesn't work, the song may be corrupt and the crash may have nothing to do with the tone.  Did you contact the creator and let them know there is no custom tone on the track?

     

    Also, make sure you're using the latest version of RS Toolkit and EoF, not that this will solve your problem, but it could help stop future issues.
