  1. Well people may post other stuff as well, like I did in the first post. Those two clips won't neccessarily (almost positive) go together. People can say "Hey that demo 3 sounds cool! But not demo 1 or 2" then talk to that author and work with him/her. Ask to tab it out etc. :)

Also make sure you are the original author of whatever you post. Don't want anyone getting ticked off about this. Just wanna have some fun! And have a place people can post their discarded riffs etc that they figured they would never use..who knows! Someone else may really enjoy them or know where to go from there!Cheers!

  2. I had an idea to post some random bits of riffs, chord progressions, lyrics etc.

If others chime in and add to them/Post their own maybe we could eventually end up with a pretty cool song! Or atleast a good chuckle! :P

I welcome all playing styles & playing levels!

I am by no means a great guitar player! I'm more of a drummer, so if we need some drum tracks I can do that as well.

Even if you play the triangle, thats okay! xD

I'll start by posting a few things I had laying around, AND GO!

  3. Had a strange idea last night. What if people we're to post riffs, chord progressions, Lyrics etc that they've come up with && Other people can chime in and add to it.

Eventually we might end up with a pretty cool song!

    What do you guys think?

Would this be something anyone is interested in doing?

  4.

i'd also like to suggest a version number in the cdlc search so it's easier to see if someone has updated the song without having to actually go to the download page.

    :)

We're not going to add any more features to Search 2 now as we're working on its successor, but you might consider following the CDLC you download. That way you'll get a notification if a new version is uploaded. The follow button is in the top right corner of the CDLC page.

    Thanks for the info!

  5. I use Dunlop Nylon .46's for acoustic strumming.

When playing electric or bass i'll bump up to a 1mm or 1.1mm :)

I also use what Jaster has. (The pick punch) so if I run out I can use old butter container lids, or old giftcards to make some in a pinch. :)

  6. I just use the RealTone Cable into the PC and use Guitar Rig VST for amps and effects.

Sounds pretty nice if you ask me!

I think I sortof figured it out using Midi sends and recieves.

though the xbox controller seems to be WAY to sensitive for some reason with reaper. it's picking up the stick movements which is messing with the button inputs.

    Almost there lol

  7. Is there a way I can plug some kind of USB controller (Like a xbox 360 controller or any USB device with a Button on it) and use it as a Tone switch pedal in Reaper? What I want to do for example is have an Xbox controller on the floor that I can tap with my foot to change tones within reaper.

Anybody know anyway I can achieve SOMETHING like this?

pretty envious that I don't own any pedals & can't play songs that require a tone switch mid song.

    Thanks!!!
