I'd see if Nacho charted his stuff using a humbucked guitar. I'm guessing you've got single coils in the Mexi-Strat. I've charted some stuff that had bad tones if I took the settings too extreme, then switched from my LP to my Strat. (or the other way around.) ((also, all the stuff others have mentioned already :))  

User definable chord progressions in session mode. ie DIY Jam tracks in your choice of key.

A "Section Accelerator mode*" (*TM by moi*) in riff repeater, where you play through at your best speed the first time, then next time individual sections are played slightly faster than you can handle. ie: in a song with a dozen sections, it might go something like: 25% speed for the first 15s, 90% for the next 30s, 33% for the solo, 100% for the next part...  If the game "remembers" you could even tell it to skip the parts you have greater than 95% (or 65% or some other user defined %) mastered, and just mash together the sections you aren't good enough at.

Having "bullet time" or a decelerator that could detect  when you've gone off the rails, and slows the song until you recover might be useful too.

Specific to the Scale Racing Game, I'd like to see a car able to take "progressive damage" ie: a 3 lives, you're out setup instead of insta-death.

10. open eof -> import  audio -> import guitarpro file -> add leading silence -> sync beats, -> snap grid... (or, add silence, import guitarpro, snap grid, then sync, etc)

My example in point "10" is just that if steps that must occur in a certain sequence could be highlighted, it would cut down on frustration and excess reworking of projects. For me at least.

Also, having optional steps defined as optional would help. 

I'd be willing to collaborate on something like this if there's any takers.

To amend Dale's answer a bit, and give you credit for guessing right (about the second guitar part)

A rhythm guitarist/bassist/ukulele/harmonica player/pianist could "fake" an arrangement using those chord changes.

Some things to keep in mind, are that rhythm guitarists probably wouldn't just play a single strummed chord when they see D, or Dmin, or D7, etc (<- different chord shapes), they would usually play multiple strums with the beat of the song.

Bass players might play the single notes indicated, might play arpeggios using that note as a "base" note ie, they'd play something like D - then F# - then A - then the F# - D or whatever sounds most rhythmic. (or they could play power chords or double stops ie: D on the A string and D on the G string at the same time, etc)

With the ukulele, and many other instruments, you can play a chord-melody arrangement. Often that means a chorded strum on the change, followed by playing some cool sounding individual notes from the melody of the song. (like in combo mode from RS1) (Also, ukulele players often travel in large packs, so trying to get everyone to "meet up" at chord changes is a good way to keep in time if you don't have drums or bass to help with that.

Then you get those @!#$!%ers on piano who can play chords with the left hand while simultaneously playing melody with the right... (yes, I'm jealous)

I've searched here and on your wordpress site, and haven't found if there's an easy way to only apply DD to certain tracks. IE, I'm working on a song with a complex lead, and  a straightforward bassline. I'd like to package the song with DD on lead, and no-DD on bass, because strangely enough, the bass is genuinely easier without the DD.

Well, I still want to know if you've looked in the your Rocksmith DLC folder -- just to confirm you don't actually have the Cherub song. Seems strange you wouldn't. Unless they stopped giving this away? I didn't buy RS2014 right away when it came out, and it came with my copy.

 

It should be available as a purchase through Steam if nothing else. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble just buying it.

Cherub Rock was free for people who pre-purchased RS2. I didn't get it until after release, so had to buy Cherub Rock.

If we've gotten darker roast  to suit my wife's taste (she uses cream) I might add 1/4tsp or so of sugar.
