@ I play emulated bass with my guitar and pick, I looked through the forum the first time I joined 2 weeks ago, and it wasn't mentioned anywhere if it's not allowed, moreover people were actually using emulated bass.

GoG is not a class, more of a bonus competition for anyone to enter. And it is 2 weeks long.

Damnit, gj dude! I wont win because if you use Learn A Song the accuracy gets rounded to the closest 2 digit number. So i got 98.2% but because its in learn a song mode the accuracy will always be rounded to 98% So you win by 0.4%. I really need to start playing in Score attack

Nah dude, you'll be the Master Class winner, because I'm in GoG, and for me only that counts, you can't win more than one Class in an arrangement...

If I wanted to I could be first in every class in every arrangement, but only my highest class entry would be actually counted.

Been away almost all week, but thankfully i had played freewheel burning 12 times before and i knew the song. So i did play it once and did OK:

@@JokerTheAnarchist, you don't need to go through all pages, We're always trying to be up to date with all scores.

You can easily see all scores in the leaderboard sheet. Mortalo and MaZtor have a link in their signatures, but you can bookmark the link to your browser that you don't have to look for any posts of them everytime. And nice to see you beaten by me :D

Going through six pages double checking if I'm the current winner in all Master Class (well except for Rhythm because of you :P ) is really tiring..

I can do better I swear! I'm going for the diamond pick! I slip up at the end of the last solo. Those trills, I always miss it, and it brings my multiplier below to 25x, but I don't want it to ever go below 50x..

Heavenly is a power metal outfit from France that has some killer guitarists. If you enjoy Lust for Life, I definitely recommend checking out the album - it's about a vampire who denies his hungers for human blood and instead goes on a journey to kill the Master vampire who afflicted him and reclaim his soul.

 

Most of the song is straightforward enough for GOG participants, but those neoclassical solos are not playable by mere mortals...

You did a really good job with the charting of the notes, man!

I'll be making a video on the song as an entry probably tomorrow, if I can reach 99%, my current best is 97.43%.

The only difficult part for me is that one sweeping arpeggio in the middle of the song. I'm not good at sweeping, as I've never practiced it. Instead what I do is multi-string tapping, that way I can play it, and it's fun doing it too.

When you start a new post you'll see a little picture icon just below and to the left of the smiley icon.  Click that and paste the url of your image in there.  Done.  ;)

 

Thanks man. I've tried that before, but it didn't work, my post just would be posted, I remained in the editor.

But I just figured out the problem. The URL for the image on the Steam server does not end in a .jpg, it's just a url with some gibberish and a "/" ending, no actual image format.

So I reuploaded the image to imgur, and now it works. Thanks for the help!
