Oh man, listening to the leaks of Simulation Theory and I can't wait to play some of these! Not that I can spare the many many hours that it would take to recreate some of these tones :P

Updated Lies, all the issues should be pretty much fixed now :)

Finished it! Think it turned out pretty well, but if anyone has any suggestions to improve it then please let me know.

When you have it go
B - 12
A - 10
to
G - 10
A - 10
near the start, shouldn't it go to a 13 on the B instead of that 10 on the G? I literally just started playing the custom for the first time and thought that was a strange thing.
Yeah, something struck me as slightly weird about that, but I didn't want to mess with the tabs too much. I've got a few other minor adjustments to make to the chart, so I'll make sure to check this out as well.

Hey guys! I haven't made a Muse custom before, but just letting you know that I've started work on making one for their cover of CHVRCHES' song Lies, so hopefully that'll be done in the next day or two :)
-
When I started with the game and started learning I would only DL DD customs because I actually needed the DD.
Now that I'm better, I still download DD wherever I can and just whack the difficulty up to full for each song, because I still like having the bars there to show progress better and the difference in difficulty between parts. I like it when creators give an option for DD, even if it's dodgy DDC.

I played piano from the ages of about 6-15 at school... Really never got good, so gave up on that and picked up teaching myself guitar, instantly had a lot more fun and played stuff that actually sounded good. Learning to read sheet music was useful, though.

@@ObsidianEagle, as albatross213 said you need to remove wem file and encode\choose correct one, i jus import it to the EOF and got sound w\o silence at the beginning
You're right, I didn't even realise I was working with two different versions of the same song. Maybe next time I'll clean up my folder structure so I don't make such a mess :P
Thank you both for finding the problem!

link to cdlc please
It's not quite finished yet, but here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/shx0a4q9qr1afto/Yoshihisa-Hirano-and-Hideki-Taniuchi_Death-Note_v1_Test2_p.psarc?dl=0

I guess my question would be if you're sure the audio file that you used for making the .wem and such was the same audio file that you used for the EOF file. If you added leading silence after converting or had two .wav files (original and plus leading silence) for some reason and chose the wrong one it might lead to the problem you're talking about. I've definitely done this myself, so now I tend to a) make sure I'm using the right file by listening to a bit and B) make the .wem as the last step in my process before generating the psarc file.
I double checked, definitely the same file used in making it and used in the .wem.

I was testing a CDLC I made, but when I loaded it up the song started playing as soon as it loaded, so the notes on the highway (when the song should have started) ended up being a few seconds behind.
It's all synced perfectly in EOF, I'm using the latest version of EOF and the toolkit. Why is this happening?

It's kind of a shame that RS1 rarely goes on sale as opposed to RS2014, because I'd like to be able to get a couple of the RS1 DLC songs but I've been waiting a long time for a sale.
-
I think in most cases, unless you have a really good setup, the latency would make playing it pretty unbearable via streaming.
-
Well, hopefully this bug can turn into a feature at some point :P
EDIT: Another weird thing is that I have no clue where the actual DLC files are kept, since they don't seem to be in my RS2014 DLC folder and I don't have an RS1 folder.

Sorry if this has been asked before, it's been annoying me for a while and it's been hard to find an answer on google.
I own RS2014 but not RS1, but I want a few DLCs from RS1. When I tried before, it would always lock me out and steam would throw up an error saying "You can't buy this because you don't own the base game". But a few days ago, I tried buying an RS1 DLC and it worked, and I was able to play it in game fine. Today I tried it again for 3 more DLCs, the first I could buy, but the other two I couldn't.
Is there any kind of pattern to what I can and can't buy, or any kind of fix?
Thanks

So I just gotta practise until I can do it. I'll try everything that was suggested, thanks everyone :)
-
I've been learning ever since RS2014 came out and I've been constantly practising, but I feel that I've kind of hit a wall so that I can't get much better without being able to alternate pick.
I hold my pick correctly, but my upstrokes just always sound and feel off, and it doesn't sound good when I try to alternate pick (and I can only do it relatively slowly).Does anyone know any ways I could get better at this?

Why is this site marked "not secure" in my browser by the address?

The site has TLS enabled but not by default. If you put https:// before the domain (e.g. "https://customsforge.com")then you'll see that the connection is now secure
For the record, if a website says "not secure" it doesn't necessarily means there's any problem, just that the connection isn't encrypted.
