Last week I failed to submit my entry (shame on me), but I promised myself to submit one score this week, at least on easy mode. However I'm quite baffled by the Nirvana song.
I must point out that it is not an easy song :p I've look in the Championship file and it is flagged as a 3. I must say that it feels more like a 4 or 5 because of the bar chord changes
Any hint from more experienced player on how to approach the Nirvana's song? Note that I can play "In bloom" and "Smells like teen spirit" quite well
(sorry if this is not the right thread to post this)

I've been observing the championship for weeks in the shadow, never feeling the guts to participate, but the songs this week are so great! I've been given a try and beginner/intermediate are really fun to play.
I guess I'll enter this week if I find the time to improve my first scores :p
For the moment, 79% on beginner rythm, 87% on intermediate rythm, 64% on beginner lead, 64% on intermediate lead... definitely some place for improvment.
BTW, thanks nicholede for the Enter Sandman version, really nice tabbing.

My thanks for this topic. I plan to try and edit some songs (especially for practicing my guitar lessons) and I was not sure on how to proceed.
Having such links at my disposition is excellent. I hope this will help me in ascending the learning curve of custom song authoring ;)
Cheers

@@Mortalo, @@MonstaS4,
Hey! thanks a lot for your answers. Fact is that completely agree with you, practice is the most perfect companion to progress. My personnel journal reminds me this point everyday
As a matter of fact, I already have some significant progress lately with chord changes thanks to Manson's CDLC "Running to the edge..." and "4 rusted horses" and lots of practice on the side
However, I felt really humble in front of this nirvana's song as bar chord changes are frequent. With your explanation, I completely understand now why this is an "easy" song. I guess I won't be able to submit my result this week, but this Nirvana's song will serve as a great training ground then.
As for the Justin's routine. I've used it lately for open chords. I just did not thought to use it for bar chords :p do thanks for the reminder and thanks again for your answers
