If the charter didn't include a tone when they built the custom song in the toolkit, then that song will break Rocksmith tone changes. You could attempt to edit the cdlc and add your own tone, but it's likely that the chart is terrible anyway. I don't understand why the toolkit even allows you to build a custom without an assigned tone? I guess putting in some effort of editing a CDLC would let me play songs i can't, thanks for the info

from what i could see there are multiple songs that crash the tones for some reason and the only way to get it working again is to restart rocksmith, havent found a solution yet, i just dont play the songs that do this

i do believe i was prompted at some point at eof to make DD version, im pretty sure i clicked yes EOF won't auto create dynamic difficulty for you (the toolkit does). Does your psarc end in DD_p.psarc or NDD_p.psarc? If you go into riff repeater can you adjust difficulty levels? If there is no DD: Open up the latest toolkit and click on the DDC tab. Drag and drop the psarc file into the box. Hit Generate. This will give you a file with DD. You can verify by adjust levels ingame in riff repeater mode. thanks so much, thats one more CDLC creator the the list of people building this community, you should see some CDLC coming from me real soon

Hi Guys, I'm new to making CDLC and i've just completed my first one but i appear to found a bit of an issue, the screen does not seem to want so shift left to right along with the notes and simply stays in one stationary position regardless of where the notes are going ( off screen ) Is there something wrong with the way I've made the CDLC cause i notice a few other CDLC from other people do the same on my pc and mac such as "arctic monkeys - i bet you look good on the....) If someone could shed some light on this much appreciate many thanks. I enjoy this community and hope to play a part in it by giving people some new music to play.

for cdlc to work they are given the same ID as Cherub dlc which is , if im right, is the cheapest dlc to buy. This is a bypass so that rocksmith will see the cdlc as Cherub dlc. if you own another dlc you can find out the id, get a rocksmith convertor and convert it to whatever dlc you own, although buying Cherub would make things easier as 90 percent of cdlc is made to that ID
