  1. bass rampage!

    Saint Veronika Bass , 98,2%

Just realised im Intermediate already, so played some Saint Veronika.

The song grows on me, lots of fun!

..And Justice For All Bass, 94%

And some fun with Jason! Man that was one hell'ov a bass player...

My right hand is hurting now.

Does Jason play with a pick, because of all those Chords, or is he just that level of badass

that his fingers ARE picks? I had a really hard time with those.

    cheers!

  2. bass scores!

    White Limo Bass, 99,88%

    Missed one or two notes...

    White Limo Bass MM, 95,96%

Just for fun and to see how good i memorized it, and despite the score, it was only subpar in my opinion

    Starstruck Bass

    Lemon Song Bass

Cant really handle the Starstruck Bass lick where it goes B-A-F#-D-B and other variations... too fast and the string skipping on top, my fingers cant handle that yet.

The Lemon Song was quite awesome to play, but still, fingers too slow. Good Ol' John is rocking that bass

I hope i will get to my guitar next time...bass is sooo much fun ;D

    cheers!

  3. some first scores.

Black Keys Too Afraid to Love You, 100% Bass

Chill song, i think i could go to Intermediate soon ;P

    White Limo 99% Bass

That was exhausting! I really need to practice my right hand on picking lots of consecutive notes.

But still, proves its Intermediate Bass time for me

    White Limo Lead, 77% Lead

That was...confusing for me, hahaha. But all in all not that difficult if you got the picking down

    Rainbow Starstruck 90% Lead

Awesome song, but maybe would have changed this one with White Limo for the classes.

    Lemon Song, 84% Lead

Love it. need to get those bends and all those solos down

    cheers!

  4. again awesome songs this week, its a shame that it will be a stressful one for me again.

black keys and foo fighters are one of my regular choices on my 'outside doing stuff' playlist.

I actually have the album of rainbow this song is on on vinyl and its badass!

And great song of the zeppelin, choose it especially for you MC Bass guys as i thought it will be quite a challenge ;)

cheers guys! have a great weekend and a awesome week

  5. love the songs this week

    did some quick runs

    Falling Away From Me, 100%

Love Korn, really awesome guys, not the most diffuculty guys to play but they absolutely dont have to.

really slow song, and it was kinda easy, but some parts were kinda confusing cause you couldn't really hear the bass/yourself over the loud guitar

    4 No Uta

gave this one a quick look with the bass, as i'm going to play the rhythm anyway.

well...AWESOME. Babymetal songs are so weird but totally cool and sooo catchy.

had a earworm of that song the whole day.

but it was way to exhausting for my right hand on the bass.

And dont have to say much about the GNR song, the old songs of them are really all pretty briliant and fun to play.

    cheers, have a great week!

  6. started with 17 (am now 24) as i got tired of just listening to the music i love and

wanted to make silly noises too!

From then on i teached the guitar and musical theory to myself.

Went to university in 2011, joined my first few bands and had some gigs.

Bands broke up and around the same time rocksmith 2014 came out...

replaced the lack of a band with rocksmith and it was more fun than i expected.

Right now im using it as a fun tool to jam to some songs of other bands(championship)

when im not working on my on stuff.

  7. i had a busy few days, but nonetheless got some session time in

    Hotel California, 92,96%, 73 streak

I'll have yet to do a run for the rhythm part, but i took a quick look into it and it seemed quite the challenge

AND i also got myself a bass, hahaha

    thats the beauty:

    Fender Squier Jazz Bass

Im totally new to the bass, played some for a few minutes if a friend had one,

but i think my guitar "skills" sort of helps.

    In my Head QOTSA, 96,065

This was the most difficult one for me, as im good on my left hand but not so much on the right and the repetitive fingering of one

string caused me some little cramps.

    Crackerman Stone Temple Pilots, 95%

Cool song by a cool band, bot kinda boring to play

    Hotel California, 95,38%

My favourite on the bass. Lots of fun playing this one

    Party At Ground Zero, 89%

Some parts are cool, some part nots so much in this song.

Well... my right index and middle fingers got blisters now, so i think i'll take a little break with the bass while i decide in which class i'm going to enter with it.

    cheers guys!

  8. some first scores:

    Rolling Stones, Jumpin Jack

Big love to the stones, especially this one.

Iron Maiden - To Tame a Land, 91%

Too much Iron Maiden in the CS!! And i'll even have to play this one.

Aerosmith - Eat the RIch, 94,54%

Aerosmith is one of my favourites, and this is one of their best in my opinion.

As you can see, i got this one down already (more or less). Played it alot already, but as always

    only sight reads till now.

All in all great songs, hope i'll have the time for more this week, as i joined the productive people group on this planet and

got myself a job. Miss the student life already, hahaha

    cheers!

almost forgot, i played this one over the weekend.

Amazing! And "easier" than i expected

    -= weekly leaderboard update =-

    SCORING RULES UPDATE:

valid MasterMode score in player´s scoring classes: +1 Pt

100% Run in player´s scoring classes: +1 Pt

the rules apply from this update on, so a max of 120pts/10 weeks is achievable.

I have a cool new stat:

    Total players listed: 103

    leader changes:

    @MaZtoR       INT LEAD

    @Blazikiller     MC BASS

    remarkable streaks:

    @@franfit BEG LEAD 60Pts

    @@genobadass ADV BASS 72Pts

players falling off the boards for not scoring in 10 weeks:

    @@Neilpeart2112

    come back, strike hard!!!

    http://i62.tinypic.com/vfxrfq.jpg

So the first extra points have been scored, i think this adds quite to the competition, finally i have been able to implement the counting of total # of competitors in all paths to keep track of the growing competition.

    Have a nice week!

i think you've got something wrong in the way you calculate the MC Lead/Rhythm section, if i compare it with the last

weeks leaderboard of you the changes this week in MC Lead are Nacholede + 3 pts frippchen + 2, for me + 5 and theneverend got -5?

In MC Rhythm frippchen got +5 pts and i got nothing.

Shouldn't the points be +10 for me, +5 for nacholede, +3 for frippchen and +1 for theneverend in MCLead

and +5 frippchen and +10 for me?

seems weird, i thought the points are distributed in 10/5/3/1 steps, and no subtraction.

  10. quick first runs

    The Killing Moon

cool song, will be a good challenge for beginners.

    Left Hand Free

this one is awesome. really digg it.

    10.000 Days

While Tool is a really great band, the guitar here is a snore-fest- this is no Masterclass level, only hard part is

sustaining that arpeggio because your hand/brain coordination (at least mine) feels weird after doing the same thing for 3 minutes or so and your getting brain-farts every now and then

But cool song to listen to! And the MC Bass guys will have some fun with this song for sure

    cheers

  11.

    some last scores.

I havent had much time this week sadly.

I still have totaly sloppy and unprecise hands in the rhythm path

and the lead path lacks lots of practice

Canon Rock Lead, 81,04% 72 streak

    Canon Rock Rhythm, 91,22% 56streak

i think i accept defeat on this one @ ;)

but leader in MC Lead is not so bad I would mean. Great scores man!

and I'm happy you didn't beat my rhythm score, I'm not very hot to play this again

didnt even realize i was leader, oh wow.

and i have to disappoint you, gave rhythm another run and it somehow clicked

Canon Rock Rhythm, 94,55% 88 streak

  12. exhausting day for me today (fuck whole day lectures on a sunday!)

but still had to give a quick look into RS.

    awesome songs this week, again!

Stir Me Up is cool, but i dont like playin it, reggaes not my cup of tea to play.

Exo-Politics is a awesome song, went straight into MM on this one because i played this one a few times on gigs

Exo-Politics But I'll have to give this one a little closer look i think.

Wont check out the Megadeth one, partly because i dont want to tune down and partly because i didnt really liked the song that much.

    So... Canon Rock.

I have this one in my library for a while but never really gave it the time it needed, thats why i put it on the championship, and its freakin awesome! i love Classical/Rock mashups. (I often thought about suggesting classic songs like Bureê on guitar, but there usually is only 1 guitar on the track :/ )

so yeah my crappy scores for now:

    Canon Rock Lead 73%

    Canon Rock Rhythm 85%

Need to get some rest for now.

Great week & a cool rest of sunday to you guys!
