some bass scores:
I really dont like the Metallica one, in fact never liked that song.
Its boring to me and the solo is silly guitar-masturbation, i think i will pass on it
and maybe will go freebird completely, but i dont know for sure right now.
Aaaand i wouldn't stand a chance against @@then3verend and @@Nacholede on this song anyway ;)

My biggest problem with this version is this note run on the 15 near the beginning should be a slide
http://s8.postimg.org/fqo9xipfp/2015_07_23_00003.jpg
To be exact, this should be a plek-on-string slide (i dont know what its called, but i hope you know what i mean) on the D-String, but i dont think you can tab that in RS.

had a look at the new Underwear version, and everything seems fine with me, even sync wise.
and i checked out Anthem solo again, good work @@bernixix the part you fixed is now got to go ;D
there are no major sync issues in the solo now, so thats cool!
cheers!

Yeah, thanks for your feedback @@Latsch ! ^_^ I'm all aware that the solo has still some improvement to be perfect (stated in the release notes), but I can tell you that compared to the gp file it came with it's a lot better now :) I already made some work on it but... since I don't play guitar I can't distinguish licks like the one you mentioned (which I agree it's missing but not sure about the notes you proposed).
i saw that, and the solo isnt that badly charted, just wanted to point these things out, so the CDLC in itself can be improved ;)
I have a huge respect for all you charters!
I was able to fix these - I believe! Improved solo version and its corresponding N-DD. If someone wants to test it and help fixing would be welcome as well B)
I will have a look at it tomorrow!
cheers

Lead update & review:
i did some RR on the solo and i got some issues there,
firstly, the whole solo being one section is a little bit shitty, would be awesome to split it into
two/three.
I think on those bends in the beginning of the solos, some sort of pitch effect is used, i really doubt that its played bending the stringbut im not sure on this one and i dont know how to improve that.Forget this one, i was wrong and simply suck ;D
There are some notes missing here, and that D 15th fret should come in earlier.
For notes im hearing something like this
|-12---------------12--------------------------------| E-String
|-----15p12-15^-----15p12--15--17------------ | B-String
But im not 100% sure about these.
and this section of the solo
is out of sync., as in the notes on the fretboard lag behind the audio.
its only this small part, starting on those slides on the b-string, and stops
when the open high-e is played into the bend on the A on the 17th fret.
But besides the solo, this cdlc is really good, and solos are hard to transcribe anyway.
Would be awesome if someone could check it out too, and hopefully
@@bernixix can make some imrpovements to his CDLC
And my new score:

Only one problem: hand gets sweaty from such long series of chords, and pick is starting to moving out of hand. Interesting how professional players deal with it? Maybe they have no sweat at all :) ?
I have the same problem in the summer, and i bought myself picks with a grip part ( http://www.rockemmusic.com/files/dunlop%20maxgrip%2073.jpgi currently play these).
They worked wonders for me, the pick stays where it should ;)

played some guitar
Really cool and easy song, altough a little fast, but should be no problem
if you know the pentatonic minor
Lots to improve here, but the solo is easier than i thought.
The Sound and Sync on these 2 are top, not perfect but definitely playable and not ear-killing.
Sweet Dreams though had slight sync problems, i felt.
(Solo and that minor A-Shape Arpeggio on the 15th fret)

It just keep amazing me how a 22 yo Geddy Lee could write this kind of basslines (and then play it and sing), that's one of the reasons that make me love Rush.
Thats exactly what i thought while i was playin Anthem.. the playing and singing one..unbelievable
That "middle" part is insane
Here are the other songs, great choice this week
Fucked up one slide because i thought i could take a sip of my coffee in between ;D
This ones really fun to rock out while playing
Love Tool, but fuck those timings, and i couldnt hit a single one of those chords
cheers!

Could have done better here, and im expecting way better scores from the other MC guys ;)

So finally some scores
I will go for another Rhythm run on here, but i think no more on that song.
Just like @ i grew tired of Metal the last 5 years, and i have to absolutely be in the mood to listen to/play it.
But i absolutely LOVE me some Jethro Tull!
Pressed Screenshot to late here
Maybe there will be some MM score coming on this song ;)
cheers

Not that hard, to be honest.
I dont really have any recognition issues on the double stop bends, i just need to
get my fingers to stop flopping around.
And that part on the 22+ frets, need to look at that.

Started with the Bass
Cool song, but Metric is a little bit too Pop-like for me
Could have been 100%, but im going to play this one way too much anyway.
I really like these early Hardcore/whatever bands, awesome song.
I thought i could give a update on this one ;)
Well... lots of fuckups and i didnt play with a pick, so not one single chord registered.
Lots of work here.
cheers!

:/
So I cant pass/get a competitive score on moonlight because I dont have 24 frets on my guitar.
Fuck :|
No 24th fret here too, haha
-
Let's start week 88.
Aehm *cough* 89 ;)
Great songs this week, im excited to play The Grudge and totally confused about moonlight shadow.
I think i never listened through the song so i never heard that there are guitar solos in that song...
Well.. we'll see how i will like it.
cheers!

A little bit of MC rhythm
I had a look into the Lead path, especially on that tapping nonsense, and slowed down to 50% i had to
literally smash my finger so hard on the fretboard that it hurt, to get them to register.
Sooo, im going to pass Lead this week.
The CDLC just isnt fun for me due to the above and some other stuff throughout the song that makes no sense
for me.
cheers!

Can't really tell you guys how i missed Yes, but i somehow never really gave it a listen.
I only really know Owner of a Lonely Heart, and i never made the transition to listening more.
My usual playlist always consider PinkFloyd, Jethro Tull, some Alan Parson, Gentle Giant and a little bit of
Kansas and Rush and many more here and there hahaha
cheers!
PS: and im sort of in the "younger" generation (born 90). Its hard getting all those good old tones together when
all your friends listen to newer tunes.
There are way too few new Prog Rock Bands (at least of those that i know)

Finally some scores ;)
I'll have to say i dont really know any songs of Yes/Chris.
Pretty cool one, but waay too long.
Well, that's progressive rock for you. If you think 9 mins is long than you'll definitely have some issues with many tracks from the genre. :D
For me the 9 mins just fly by when I play this and I wish it could be longer. :(
As a matter of fact, im a huge prog rock fan, hahaha.
But the song felt a little long especiall halfway through, i think thats due to me more concentrating on hitting the
notes and not really listen to whats going on beside the drums.
It was my first run/listen to the song, have to sit back and give Yes/Chris a listen pretty soon, to say
anything more.
cheers!

Finally some scores ;)
I'll have to say i dont really know any songs of Yes/Chris.
Pretty cool one, but waay too long.
Somehow fucked up the end, got lots misses on the Open E...
Dont really like Maiden that much, but thats a cool Bass Line.
Fucked up those Triplets, 100% is definitely possible.
All in all One and Infinite Dreams share the same difficulty for me, at about 6-7.
They both need precise/fast picking, nothing really hard on the fretting hand.
cheers!

@@Nacholede @@Mortalo same problem here, but i was of the impression i just suck.
Did you guys tried it with a different guitar?
It works slightly better for me with my Yamaha instead of my LesPaul.
(Like i got 1-3 notes of one tapping part... )
cheers

Small improvement and gave the Rhythm path a try

Small update, fighting with all those bends

Aaaand some more score-posts!
Love Tenacious D, Pick of Destiny is one of my favourite movies
Ok, i can see how one can hate this song.
Its way too catchy, and i think i will hum it for the rest of the night.
It has some cool licks in it, but all in all pretty easy song.
Some of the solo parts are strange, i dont really like bending the 15th fret on the high-e and b string non stop.
Needs a little RR here and there, but now im off into the night life.
cheers!

gave Ktulu a run, despite not liking it ( i HAD to post some scores ;D)
Ktulu Lead
Cant say much about the fast solo part, but everything else seems solid.
Ktulu Rhythm
I have lots of random misses on the open Strings here, especially on that Cmaj7/A arpeggio (tried with all my guitars)
and the Em-A#-C-whatever run (intro) which is played on the end of the song is completely out of sync.
I wanted to atleast get a 95% here, but that stuff made me not to even try.
Havent found anything else
cheers!
