Originally meant it to be songs in Em/G (according to tunebat) but that kind of fell through halfway since i noticed the difficulties wouldn't match
soo.. yeah xD

Why my random choices:

First off, I don't really like choosing psarcs without lyrics when there are some present. So I do feel a bit guilty, but the few that are like that are at least decent to play (and I think that's what matters most in the competition).

Rose- A well done tab and I think its good for beginners (not em/g ) . There is a semi tough octave part but its short and with practice I think its doable. Also it's been on my yt feed nonstop for the past months, so I am hopping this will do some voodo magic to make it stop for a while.

True friends- I always have alot of bonus bass songs so I thought maybe I could have some love for guitars.
I personally think rhythm passes as beginner since its pretty repetitive and mostly single notes but we'll see. Regardless of what the difficulty ends up being I think its a solid practice track.

White snake- Oldie, has a tough solo.

Jordan: Thought the other songs weren't challenging enough so added this song that is good for octave practicing and a good warmup for the mj song.

europe- Oldie but I only have ever heard of final countdown.

Michael jackson- Not em/g but it has rock in the title so its kinda similar to europe in that sense? I needed an advanced bass song i think its more likely a high intermediate song as the fills are pretty sparse and not that much % but left it at 6 the middle point between mystic and jellis rating

Guthrie- Never heard before but was nice to play

Strawberry- has quite a bit of chords so i thought it'd be fine in rhythm this week will require practice 😛

The players- unsweetened- Just a quick song I found in scrams catalogue, thought it was challenging enough and the "unsweet" is kinda like the opposite of a strawberry maybe? stretch idk. I rated it low cause even though it is hard and will require practice, its short and I think its doable/ theres harder songs out there.

The solo on the radio mix of "Here I Go Again" shouldn't be too hard. No shred run like the regular version.

Hell yeah! Has everything a real and hard beginner song shall have. Sort of reference (3) - you master that (99+), you can make that sound ok - move up to Int

 

 

 

Hah... i think i never ever ever heard that radio edit... i started laughing hard while playing.... i just wonder - people buying the album back then after listening to the radio, putting on the record - they must have had that "wooow - what a song, i didn´t remember it was that good by any means" moment 🙂

 

 

 

Hey damn cool Int Bonus Track. Oc it´s that strange new metlish music that´s always kind of meh, but i was banging throug the whole song which is rare. Blast to play - i hope ppl do that. Pity here it didn´t make it to a regular spot. (4.5)

Rose. Nice beginner's song. Last part of lead might be tricky. 

 

Whitesnake. Nice song. But a little bit hard. Lead part especially.

 

BMTH. Rhythm part is nice and easy. Lead.... slides and fingering parts... no soap.

huh interesting yea apparently theres a lot of versions of the song, so i wonder which one you refer to.
Theres the one in the cdlc which has a guitar for most of the song (which is why i think he tabbed it)

the remastered version in the same album which is more synth focused intro...i think thats the one im used to? (even though i heard it way before 2018 so it is a bit odd... ig maybe they just remastered a newer version of the song maybe)

and then the 2011 version that sounds like a demo/cover to me cause the chorus background vocals sound pretty raw/drunk..almost like a cover band in a bar. But it might be the original version, i wouldnt know.

Also sounds like he says "like a hobo i was born to walk alone". which is different from the other versions. kinda like the hobo line but overall not a fan of the version.
