I had some recognition issues with the solo, and I think maybe I need to fix the intonation, but I dont now how to do that! 😕

I concluded it probably didn't have to do anything with my setup, kept checking everything with my intonation and tried all sorts of settings. I have the same problems in the solo parts as you do. they are not hard to play cleanly and RS still has issues with the recognition.
For other songs that have the same notes in them, it works just fine for me like 'Muse - MK Ultra'

Last week we had issues with recognition as well. After the map creator posted an update with the same trouble-making notes in the map the recognition has improved for some reason, at least a bit.

The game is quite old already so I think someone probably has way more information/knowledge about it but I feel like there has to be something going on just with how the game can end up handling the maps differently and struggles with certain patterns 😢

  • Bass I rated this a bit too low first time, the riff at the 12th fret and the quick transition down makes it more than a 2.5. Although I succeeded in this attempt. Type of chart proble

Hi,

Here is my poor performance at advanced song. Master one was very hard to me this time and I didnt have time to improve on that.

Hi, nice score!  I'm just learning about the screenshot uploads myself. The external links don't appear as images, and therefore might not be picked up during the scoring process.  You can upload a limited number of external screenshot files which do appear as images and are picked up by the automatic image recognition.   But as I've learned recently, you eventually run out of screenshot quota that way, and the long-term solution is to take screenshots within Steam as explained to me by Flingleper - see the conversation posted higher up on this page.   ... best wishes.. You can check the first tab in the scores Google sheet.

It says you're Bass beginner, if you get a 99.5%+ on bass on a difficulty 3 song you can rank up to the next class

shouldnt they have won last weeks bass if they participated in begginer then? or do you have to get above a certain threshold/ more ppl in the class need to compete?

always nice to hear some hollywood undead! thought we played this before but maybe it was a song i was planning to recommend and decided not to. the slides and other things kinda make it hard to get a high % but still fun

I've improved this before but forgot to publish. I didn't do anything else this week.

I'm already creating a new week. It will start in about an hour.

I haven't been here long enough to comment on numerical scores, but I thought on bass the Slash song was similar in difficulty to the Hollywood Undead song, while the Grateful Dead song was much harder than the Slash song.   The scores of people playing multiple songs on bass seem to reflect that assessment.

This week is over! Thanks for competing!

I'll just add:

@ BubbleWrapDragon  I also had problems with recognizing notes in solo of the song Scarlet Begonias. So it seems that the fault is clearly on the CDLC side, in some CDLCs I have poor recognition and, despite many years of playing, I still don't fully understand what causes it...

@ jimmy655  I mentioned earlier that it is difficult to rate the difficulty of a chart like the one in the song California Dreaming. I don't think this chart deserves more than a 5.5/6, and the scores are lowered by unrecognized pull-off notes. Despite this, in this song we play on one string and on similar frets, while, for example, in Slash song we have to move much more and jump between strings.

Anyway, you achieved over 99.5% on Slash song rated 7 (the highest rating for the advanced class), which promotes you to the masterclass on bass. If you think it was too easy and you don't want to level up yet, just write in the new week's topic.
