Let us know your opinions on the accuracy of the difficulty scores (1-10) for this weeks songs.

 

 

1. The difficulty ratings here are done by me, so let me know if I got something wrong.
2. Especially if you think that the bass mc is easier than than adv. Original ratings where reversed.
3. Lead beginner only plays in the second half of the song. I don't think this is a problem but, if you guys disagree, we can swap it out for something else.
4. The winners I just copied from the spreadsheet. I'll go through last week's thread tomorrow and update the post if there are any discrepancies.

I am surprised to win a GoB after playing the song once, although the difficulty level was not too high and the competitors were not very active. 🙂

Been a while since i played now.  Been busy playing cyberpunk. But now that is over and I'm hoping i will have more time to my guitar.

Chaotic and quite fast chart, not exactly my style. I'm glad I reached 90% and I don't think I can improve much.

Not my cup of tea. Very low tuning, so if anyone has a problem like me, I uploaded Drop-D version to my drive.

edit: i've just watched cowboy bebop (the original, really enjoyed), my most fav new musical discovery atm is Sithu Aye... The Vapors comes to mind!

Only done two of this week's choices so far. I had trouble downloading Initial by Poppin' Party and haven't gotten the chance to try the Machine Head album yet but I will with my baritone later. First time playing or hearing High Class Woman, nice tune.

I really wanted to, but been so busy i literally had about 3 hours for the whole week to play guitar (2 of which were lessons lol). I only had one shot at that Budgie song lol.

Wouldve been cool tohave The Blackening - Full Album as God of Bass as well, perhaps?

 

I did Halo on bass and realised it wasn't part of the runnings, lol! Can we do the full album for GoB too?

Anyway.

Given I usually get a fair way through the week on Intermediate Lead and run out of time both to finish it *and* Rhythm (and the fact I haven't picked a category yet), I'm going to start this week asking to be considered for Beginner and maybe bump up to Intermediate Lead if I manage to finish a song. (A lot of the beginner songs have been not as fun for me to play, but im still new to lead).

Also, how fkn awesome is that chorus. One of my fave MH songs ever.

Felt good to nail a few bits in the MH song seeing as ive only just started guitar again for the first time in 9 years (plus i was so bad when i first had one hah)

I've bodged 3 of 6-inline locking tuners onto my 3/3 headstock, now debating bodging the other 3 on (upside-down lol), cos the extra tuning stability has been such a noticeable improvement  - on half the guitar at least 🤦‍♂️ e string power chords ftw

 

Holy cow. 1100 hours of Rs2014 and this is the first I see someone play Duet!

There's no bass part in the cldc sadly.

What do mean 'not part of the runnings'? It's there, in intermediate.

Thanks for noticing it. I know I was a winner (that's why I wrote the comment) and now I see that it has been changed. @Rodman, did you take away my win and why? Or maybe these some strange algorithm errors?
