I'm doing a new version of No More Lies. I realized that there are some errors on the chart I wanted to correct so i'll let you guys know when it'a ready

I think Im going to keep the pot at current position, hehehehe. Although, in this week i will post my performances at adv, mC (personaly I think that, in this week, the advanced bass song is more dificult than the masterclass one) and, maybe, Octavarium. But i think i have a lot to learn in bass to grab that pot to mc.

Besides that, although im in homeoffice, I dont know if i can post my performances here every week because now i have a little baby to take care and im helping my wife in this so cute task.

So, im going to be at adv, except if you think it'd be better to the Championship that I move to mc.

Mine was a real small one. For the ending of the year i just wanted it the way i started the whole thing. Guitar and me. I bought the dlc, played it a few times, the next day sat down created an arrangement and while doing that i did a testrecord - and that 1st try sounded so well, i decided it would be it.

Then i recorded vocals and realised that the song also could have been meant in a total different mood, really fitting the hone year, and also there the first try was it.

Next day i went snowboarding with my wife and kids and took the picture. Great you like that strange version.

 

I know its my turn.... hmmm ... havent thought about it... lets go ... Oasis - Wonderwall!?

We can do Wonderwall....it is supposed to be THE cliche guitar song to play at parties 🙂

I was playing the previous version. Here I see some changes, especially a harder chord with an empty string.

 

I think it's the first time I'm playing a French song in a championship. Interesting.

 

I am very surprised. This is the easiest masterclass song I've seen in the championship since joining!

This one is an old playthrough I did. Pretty sure I can get 95%

 

 

Twist and Shout has a relatively simple bass chart and sits on the same part of the fretboard for most of the song...but the note density combined with 4-to-7 stretching makes it tricky to play cleanly. 

I wouldn't call this one easier to play, but the whole middle section of the song is straightforward by Steve Harris standards:

 

And Californication is very middle of the pack for me as a RHCP song to listen to but damn did I have a great time playing it...will enjoy mastering it eventually:

 

I haven't decided if I'm brave enough to try Octavarium...

Wished I knew more French, a beautiful language.  3rd maybe 4th time I played this song. Somewhere I missed  something. Too fast to tell where, but I honestly think timing or notes are off in parts, cause I think I can add a lot of extra's, that may not be needed lol!!!

Genuinely the first "advanced" song I learnt on bass, although I haven't really played the whole thing in years so the mid-section threw me off a bit.

Superbusy the rest of the week and got a recurring weird buzz in the rocksmith cable atm but will hopefully have time saturday to get a slightly better score at least 😛
