Is this normal

I downloaded Pink Floyds Money, I start off at a low difficulty of around 30, then after a few it jumps to over 70.  I don't allow the game to auto increase difficulty as I want to learn at my speed, not the games.

 

Can anyone confirm this is not just me?  Oh playing the bass track.
