sorry, but Addicted Lead is a real mess with the techs. Maybe the notes are not really wrong, but a lot of unnecessary things are written which makes it a torture. I defenitely don't spend any time in this path. Here are two examples how worse the tabbing and also the playability is. Look at this, it should be just 3 scratches down, maybe a good solution for tabbing this would be a slide out (down) from a higher fret on the E-string with dead notes, so needed just 3 notes, but the custom says this:

and this with tempo about 228bpm? no, not serious. Only way to get misses as few as possible here is beating your guitar as crazy and hope to get maybe just 5 wrongs instead 15. You see all the red 3s? They're throughout the whole song, it's another evidence of a bad tab (triads everywhere, and red is just wrong in Guitar Pro)

that explains a lot.. i haven't got the time today to try and dissect the piece a little to understand it better, but since i think it's the organizers' decision to keep this version or not, i'll try it later on

wow, some parts of this song made my brain go *bzzzt* :P wall of notes, gonna take a lot of rr to get this tapping down. are we gonna keep this one or change it? cause i can see some parts are messed up, much clearer to me than it was on last week's song.

So, I just noticed that @@scarhcqc just uploaded an Atheist song, Piece of Time. If any of you MC level bassists (and probably guitarists) want to get humiliated, it's probably not a bad song to look at. Also, it might be going on the song selection list soon  :D.

@@then3verend - I know the feeling when you play too much. I tend to feel it at the first joint in the fingers (whichever ones are used most, which tends to mean pointer and ring) of my fretting hand, but it's definitely teaching me how much I can handle (and might also mean I push down too hard still). Probably a good thing we didn't have a song that motivated me as much as last week, as I don't think my body could handle playing that much two weeks in a row.

Anyway, about playing too much: I'm pretty sure my position for playing is totally wrong.. these past days i've been playing a lot (thanks again for this xD) and I'm realizing i get quite tired on my wrist, or sometimes my back. I don't know what to change, maybe the chair.. i don't know what to change about my stance, though.. gonna have to figure this out :P

i know what you mean, i always miss a lot in the short solo that included 14s-16s. that is now (correctly) on 9s-11s, i've played the song at least three times but it always catches me by surprise xD (and it's one of the easiest mini-solos)

Yes, you should delete the old version from game folder. It's still the same song just with more accurate tabs, so you will love it

there are definitely any parts to fix at this version. Most are already fixed. New version appears very soon, today

 

Then i think i might stop trying to improve in playing this version, or the new one could be confusing :P what do you think?

does any guys from MC lead think it sounds a little bit wrong spotwise?

Maybe I'm the only one, and I just tried a bit RR until the first solo, but there are any passages I really not agree with the tab.

But for sure there are any notes, i.e first chorus, alway first the chord is just a half step too low, sounds just wrong, second chorus are no chords, just penta riffs and at one spot it should be shifted 2 frets but it doesn't, sounds so wrong. Other parts are just not playable with the shown technics. I cannot do a quick bend whole step with my inex finger, instead I play a hammer on there, sounds better and is good playable. Really nobody noticed this?

But I don't want to complain on this song again...

I've noticed a few discrepancies during the solo part, but couldn't really notice the rest, i've only tried it twice for now. As soon as i have time i'll RR it a bit and let you know.

But how awesome is the main riff? I love it

alright, i've tried Working Man from last week and i got a decent 82% out of it (1st try). I think i'm gonna compete for masterclass. I'm pretty sure my real level is somewhere between advanced and masterclass, so i might be moving back and forth between the classes when i can't reach higher than 79% (especially if a really hard song comes for mc), but whatever, this is so much fun :D

i'll try to get higher accuracies during the week.

 

You know, usually I play a new song and then i never try to learn it or anything, i just go to the next new one (CDLC are baaaaad for this xD), but this championship is making me wanna try to get better at songs and it's awesome. thanks again guys

I'm gonna try to get that number higher this week :)

so the one thing that's not clear to me is: who gets to decide (and how) which level i should compete into? should i send screenshots of all the songs or just the class i want to participate/get sent to? thanks in advance.
