Extremely short week this week - I am off to vacation (will miss my guitar).

Bass - The speed kills me, room for improvement.

Now to Ghost - I have a lot of problem with recognition here, It is a frustrating mix of "Perfect Phrase" and "Miss"...

Fun fact: Ghost is from my town, my wife drives by Papa Emeritus' house every day when she drives to work (I unfortunately don't know the guy) - I was pleasantly surprised when the choice was presented. And the song is great!

New week - no intermediate rhythm this week, but I gave good old Jethro Tull a quick try on rhythm anyway.

Bass

Lead - I can't get my fingers around the solo to 100%. I am too slow

Ups and downs this week - here is my contribution:

Bass (Adv) - Really fun and crazy. I didn't like the fingering in some parts and had to learn them by heart.

Rythm (Int) - I have problems with Rocksmith registering my strumming. I gave up on this one. I did, however, discover a new band and listened to their whole album - a great band!

Lead (Int) - loved the solo!

Tomorrow will I play multiplayer with a friend - maybe "Monsters" will be on the agenda....  :D

 

Another issue, maybe more of a personal preference, is that all (or almost all) the variations that follow the main riff should be played from the 4th fret position.  Rather than playing the main riff sometimes from 1st fet, sometimes from 2nd, it would make more sense and feel more natural to always play it from the 2nd fret, and then shift to play the riff that varies each repetition.  As it is now, it's just really inconsistent and awkward to play.  I think most of the difficulty stems from this, otherwise I'd say it's not much harder than last week's intermediate track.

 

Agree - there is no reason why you have to move around on the neck to that extent. It is much more natural to stick to the 4th fret and use your fingers. Much faster and more accurate.

Mixed feelings this week...

Bass - loved it. When you finally got the feel of the music - then it was only fun and inspiring:

Lead - don't care much for this song (sorry Led Zeppelin fans):

Rythm - to fast for me. For this one I only played the game - and I suspect that music were harmed during the process.
