  1. I think Rockband helped prepare me for what Rocksmith did with the notes coming down vertically.  I've seen some of the bandfuse videos and it just seems more difficult mentally registering the notes coming horizontally.  Even though I've learned to read music and tab horizontally.

  2. Tanqueray and just about any mixer that goes with it.

I have a 30+ year old bottle of Vermouth that makes the smoothest martini you'll ever have.  Mix that with the Tanqueray  mmmmmmm.

As for beers, the darker the better.  Never could see the appeal of Budweiser in this country.

  3. I've actually been working on this but gave up since no bass tabs are near correct as you've seen (I'm really anal about my McCartney basslines).  Plus I couldn't find a decent tone for the lead guitar.  I'm with Mad_Duck on this, the clean tone works well here, I like the sound of it, but it seems to need some overdrive or a little fuzz on it..  I wish I could explain but I couldn't figure the biting tone out myself. Also I think the lead was charted wrong in the outro (another reason I sort of gave up on it, something just sounded off).  I did get the vocals done with the banter at the end (where McCartney says "don't look at me man, I only have ten children") if you want to incorporate it into your custom, here is the ,XML for the vocals, it should match up with a little tweaking.

You're more than welcome to it, if it helps.I have several of these songs that are kicking my ###.  I'd love to see this one finished.

  4. I'll list my favorite albums that you have to listen to in their entirety (strong from start to finish).

The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band

The Beatles - Abbey Road.  The only Beatles album that was recorded with 8 track.

Pink Floyd. - the Dark Side Of the Moon

Pink Floyd - Wish You were Here

    Pink Floyd - The Wall

The 70's was the greatest time for concept albums.

EDIT: reading earlier comments reminded me of one more

Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell.  Brilliant album from start to finish.
