  1. Thats cool that you are doing rhythm and bass for bramble blast if you want you can add my lead track to it if you had no plans on doing lead so that people can just download your version with all parts.  look forward to the others too.

I think I might have found the same type of file and most of the notes are pretty much the same but I might change a few in the lead so I'm not completely copying you haha

  2. Hey guys, I want to be like to be like the cool kids on here and post stuff that I'm currently working on for you guys.

If you haven't seen me around, I'm Marathon and I create CDLC from various soundtracks that you hear in video games.

    Stuff I'm currently working on:

Xenoblade Chronicles: You Will Know Our Names

       -Add a rhythm track.

Snowboard Kids 2: I have some random tabs that I need to figure out what to do with...

Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Bramble Blast

-Finishing up tabs [i know Xstatic has released this one but I'm trying to add a rhythm and a bass part to it. Plz don't be mad Xstatic ;)]

    Persona 3: Afternoon Break

-Trying to fix this glitch in the song where it would cause the game to crash.

-Maybe also adding multiple bass tones to make it sound like the song.

Super Punch Out!: Rick Bruiser Theme

-Need to create the bass tab for it so it sounds like how it does in the song.

    Pokemon Colosseum: Cipher Admin Battle

     - Have tabs, need to get started on making the CDLC.

If there is any song of song you want to see me do please message me and I'll try to find something!

Also if you play them if there is any kind of suggestions that you can give to me to make my stuff better that would be greatly appreciated.

Oh and I might post things that I've might be doing with my daily life from time to time just so you get to know me better and what my life is like haha.

Notes 1.1: I currently am busy as I'm going to smashfests at least two times a week for most of the day. Oh and I also don't have any internet at my house and won't probably have it for another month or two so I'm going to try to focus more of creating less songs and more focus on fixing the songs I already have (fixing note speeds, notes, adding DD, etc.). So I will be posting when I'm stealing internet from my friends.

My completed CDLC for you to check out!

  3. You mean that the sound ingame is the preview and not the song, right?

In your project folder you need to have both the song and the preview, both in .wav format (you can use audacity to convert any audio file to it, or use EOF that creates the files when you select an mp3 or ogg as your source), for this I'll be calling them:

    audio: songname.wav

    preview: songname_preview.wav

In the toolkit, you'd have to select the "songname.wav" file for the audio, and if there's any file following the syntax "songname_preview.wav", it'll be included as a manual preview.

Even more, the latest version of the toolkit generates a preview automatically if there's not any songname_preview.wav file in the folder.

Ah alright I see. I actually haven't updated the toolkit in a while because of a few bugs it had in previous version. Thanks.

    Edit:

Another question since it's on the same topic but when I try to generate the song it's telling me that there is a tone error and that it is not properly defined and that I have to use Eof to reauthor custom tones. Well I've changed the tone names and tried again and it's giving me the same thing.

  4. Think they are on the wrong string.  You have bass parts on a guitar setup (6 strings).

When in EoF press Ctrl + A (to highlight all notes) then Up Arrow twice, so the gems are sitting on the top 4 strings.

    Good luck :D

Well I messed with changing the strings it still wouldn't work. All in all the simple way I had to fix this was go back into guitar pro and convert it to a 4 string bass. It seems like a lot of guitar pro tabs have 6 string basses set. Thanks for the help.

  5. Could be a million things, need to narrow it down.

Screen shot of your EoF project would help, at the start of the bass track so we can see the tuning.

And I don't understand why you say "change them both".  What part is there other than a bass part?

To go into more detail, I made a "Part Real_Bass" and a "Part Real_Bass_22" to see if either one could be read in Rocksmith. They're both the same notes in the same path.

  6. Are you talking about when you first start making a song in eof if so you could try making a folder and then selecting use existing folder and choosing the one you just made instead of creating a folder through eof.  Thats how I have always done it.

Ah, that works! Thanks that helped out a ton.

  7. I keep getting an error that says

    "Could not create folder!

    C:\Users\User\Desktop\CDLC\eof1.8RC10(r1337)\Artist Name - Song

Ensure that the specified folder name is valid and

the Song Folder is configured to a non write-restricted area.

    (File-> Song Foler)"

Is there something I need to do with the song to get it to read in Eof?
