Anyone want to try Maybe I'm Amazed? I've not tested it, as I'm a few miles away from a bass, so hopefully it's ok. Any comments welcome.

Regatta de Blanc and Deathwish done. I've found a new tab for Maybe I'm Amazed by Macca so I might have a quick go at this.
-
I've had no luck finding a bass part or tab for I've Had Enough. I've got the guitar part for it from the Quadrophenia sheet music book if that's any help to anyone (and also for Bell Boy)
@@GetTheLedOut - I'll PM you a link to the Bell Boy bass tab

Rescue Me by Fontella Bass is done. A v1.1 is required later this weekend as the fingering in the end section isn't right. This was a pain in the *** to do, but I think it's worth it. It's one of my favourite bass lines. I'm waiting to see if it sets the world on fire - after I charted Nowhere To Run, I thought everyone would go crazy for it, but no - add lyrics to Life on Mars (thanks Mr R!) though and everybody wants it! I've never been very good at judging my public though :D

Just released V1.0 of "Don't Forget Me When I'm Gone" by Glass Tiger. If anyone else notices any buzzing or interference on the track, please shout. I'm going to do a V1.1 anyway as the fingering in several places is not ideal, so if I have to regenerate the source mp3 file, it's no big deal to do that at the same time. The PC I use for RS was doing a major Dropbox sync at the time so it may (or may not!) have been that which caused the noise.

"Crazy For You" by Madge and "Graceland" by Paul Simon added. I've thrown so many tunes away this weekend because the GP/PowerTab files were written by people without the first clue about music. There's someone's files on Ultimate-Guitar which I now realise aren't worth bothering with. Why publish something which is so obviously wrong....?

Steely Dan - Peg and Eddie Floyd - Knock On Wood uploaded. Thinking about "Do It Again" by Steely Dan at some point over the weekend.
EDIT: Whilst I was thinking about Do It Again, I was sidetracked by Donald Fagen's Security Joan

Just to let you know, my "gift" was the pair of Sting songs + The Police. I assumed you liked The Police based on your previous posts.
The Police - Ωmegaman
Sting - Be Still My Beating Heart
Sting - If You Love Someone Set Them Free
Thanks for Just the Way You Are (I sing that one (an octave higher) weekly) and the released + forthcoming Steely Dan.
Hey Lacey!
I meant to say thanks for the Police and Sting songs. Three more I can cross off my To Do list :-)
I hope you enjoy Hey Nineteen - I've got several more under construction at the moment and also some more Billy Joel....

Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell is one of the songs in the Top10 most requested songs and there is for now not a single Meat Loaf song available even though Bat Out Of Hell is the third most sold album of all time! I definately would love to have that song here! Please do it asap!
The Guitar Pro/Power Tab files for BooH are not great. I did find one where the bass was very close though. The author had gone to great lengths to get the notes spot on in some very complex sections, but in others had either left a vast swathe of notes out (as at the end) or just put in a string of the same note when it's obvious that the proper notes are very different.
BooH is also a very complex song to chart as there are numerous time signature differences and it can also be very difficult to tell which notes are played where.
In short, I would imagine that it's not here already because it's bloody difficult to chart. I may post my progress so far as what I have got is very close, but it does need work on it to get the standard I'd require.

Added Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Glass Onion and One After 909 by The Beatles, and I hope that not too many people notice that I've put The Lady in Red on too.
Just added Market Square Heroes by Marillion. Not too sure about this one to be honest. Hoping for some feedback from bass-playing Marillion fans.

How should customs by The The be filed then?
(I'll get my coat)

This weekend, I feel the need to do "Sweet Soul Music" by Arthur Conley. Thanks for the indirect inspiration @@Aludog!
EDIT - V1.0 released. More of the same is planned in the coming days....
Beatles Hello Goodbye released, just sorting out some odd positioning on Trouble by Whitesnake.
Trouble V1.0 released, with a bonus issue of "Don't Break My Heart Again".

"Uptown Girl" uploaded, along with "Lovely Rita" by the Fab Four and "Help Me Thru' The Day" by Whitesnake. And why not.
Blur's undergoing a quick test and should be around tomorrow if it's any good. I'm going to take Chain of Fools apart and compare it with Lord Aludog's tab. If a job's worth doing... ;-)
-
I have a band score for "Uptown Girl" if you need it.
And yeah, "Chain Of Fools" is awesome as well. Also, not on my list, so I don't have to replace it. :D
Was this the tab you found: http://freebasspart.pv24.pagesperso-orange.fr/Fichiers/Aretha%20Franklin/Lady%20Soul/Chain%20Of%20Fools.pdf
If not, then take a look at that. The guy that transcribed these is usually pretty accurate.
Did you already see my new Isley Brothers pack btw?
I got the Chain of Fools tab from UG - I'll definitely check yours out though as there are some errors at the end of the one I found.
I've got your Isley Brothers pack safely in my collection and will be giving them a good road test tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to that!

Currently working on:
Billy Joel - Uptown Girl
Blur - There's No Other Way
Aretha Franklin - Chain of Fools

Update: Billy Joel - My Life added. I should now finish You May Be Right...
Just found a tab for Chain of Fools by Aretha Franklin. The outro isn't right (the right notes seem to be there, but not necessarily in the right order....) but the rest seems ok. Have a preview here. I really feel the urge to watch The Commitments tonight.

This weekend I've got something planned for @ which I hope will turn out well. There may also be some Dire Straits forthcoming....
EDIT - In future, keep any ideas quiet. Boy - I've seen some really shoddy Guitar Pro/Power Tabs, but the ones available for the Dire Straits track I'd seen a request for (hint everyone - we charters do look at the Requests List...) were shocking. So I have put that one on the back burner for now. Lacey's number is underway though, I don't care what you say any more, there's going to be some major tweaking necessary ;-)

@@justgimmethefunk - would you like to test drive She Said She Said? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xmhgbzi2bbdkdpn/AACl3xiNRMH5ABfLU7zBJLlYa?dl=0I've not played it yet (the wife came back from shopping a bit earlier than I'd expected).

The Beatles - Doctor Robert added. There's another song which sounds similar to this, and not knowing the title is going to be bugging me all day!

In addition to working on adding phrases/DD to my existing Customs and correcting any dodgy notes, I've got a new WIP list here.

Right, that's No Time This Time and It's Alright For You done, which completes Reggatta de Blanc. Maybe I'm Amazed has gone live too. More Police to come this weekend as I'd like to get closer to getting Outlandos d'Amour and Zenyatta Mondatta completed.
