  1.

Right, School Days is up. It's definitely going to need some fettling as the syncing doesn't appear right in some places and there are a few notes I want to check are correct.

I was looking for this song at the search page, but couldn't find it. Did you delete it? If I press the link it gives an error.

"We could not find the record you were attempting to view."

The same is with all the songs of LaceyB, can't find them anymore in the search.

Curious! Here's a link to it on Dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9b52ugy7aj2hdim/AACRfGKwNgwGUVNdVjSAr8kja?dl=0

I don't know where the record on here has gone, I've certainly not deleted it. I'll create a new one at some point.

Right everyone, whilst I'm working in the remaining Police tracks, I thought I'd try something else. This one is a favourite from years and years ago. Want a clue?

    The Vapors.....Turning Japanese.

    Oh boy!

Right subject, wrong song and continent for the group though  :) Turning Japanese is here already and it's a very good custom bass-wise. I'll try not to keep you hanging on too much longer!

  3. I'm feeling festive at the moment, and as someone put in a request for Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas, I thought I'd oblige. Now if only a) I could create a tab for "Christmas Wrapping" by The Waitresses or b ) some kind soul here would do it - I have requested it, honest, then I'd be a happy bunny.

  4. Ok it's back to "normal" stuff now. I put up "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy" by Queen earlier today and have Boney M's "Rasputin" ready to go. Unfortunately Dropbox is undergoing maintenance at the moment so I can't upload it. It'll be with you as soon as possible, as someone did request it...  :)

  5. I forgot to say that I have a Stanley Clarke song book which means I have tabs for this song that you could use to check against the GP file you used. You interested?

If it's the Hal Leonard book, that's the tab I've used  :) . I didn't find it particularly easy to read - no bar numbers, fret numbers with lines through them etc. Poor workmen always blame their tools, but I have seen better tab books.

  6. IF you have the RS1 file during save it will warn you about the 23 and 24th fret not working with the game but RS2014 handle everything up to the 24th fret but can't display anything further than that.

Excellent - that's great news, many thanks!

  7.

That's indeed brave. I never started working on that because I'll never be able to manage a proper playthrough. :D

Yes it does look like a beast. I got some messages from EoF about RS not being able to handle 24 frets and then realised "oh, he plays an Alembic, doesn't he" or words to that effect. If it crashes, I'll try taking that note/notes out. There's also a bit where he's scooshing down the G string with harmonics and I can't work out how to get that into Guitar Pro! Anyway, it looks good so far, just need to see what it plays like.......

  8. Ok my four stringed chums, I uploaded Hot Water by Level 42 at the weekend. The chart is quite busy so I'm looking for feedback on whether I can improve things by changing the scroll rate, adding more sections etc. I have some other Level 42 stuff in the pipeline and because of the way he's up and down the neck (into uncharted territory for me in some cases) I get the feeling that the more sections there are, the better in order to make the note highway as big as possible.

  9. YES, YES, YES! I think I've worked out why I'm having this problem with Sections not coming through from Guitar Pro. Try setting the BPM in your Guitar Pro score and see if EoF asks you if you want to import the Section/Phrase data. It's just worked on something which I was putting together yesterday so hopefully that's cracked that one.

  10. What we really need here is Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses, which in my humble opinion is the best Christmas song ever. If only there was a facility on this site to make requests - I'd certainly use it if there was one  :D

  11. Would anyone like to take I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying by Sting for a test drive? @?

The above is a case study in producing CDLC without having a bass to hand. OMG that was appalling. Back to the drawing board....
