Currently working on Don't Stand So Close To Me '86. It's looking like it should really be played on a 5 string or BEAD, but I'm going to do what I can do make it work in Drop D. Once that's done I'll look at a bonus BEAD version. 

Try some of the Police songs - Walking on the Moon, Every Breath You Take, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,  Shadows In The Rain etc. Simply Red's Sad Old Red sounds good on an upright. Wild Is The Wind by David Bowie, Cowboys & Angels and Kissing A Fool by George Michael, Shipbuilding by Elvis Costello, Queen's 39, Carter Takes A Train, Sting's Moon Over Bourbon Street,

Almost completed Murder By Numbers. Just got the mad bit at the end to work out.

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic added. V1.0 needs a few minor tweaks, but other than that it's better than the version which disappeared a while back.

Update: Hungry for You (J'aurais toujours faim de toi) added.

 

I'm going to do Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic tomorrow - I found the version which was here a while back but it doesn't do the song justice, so let's have a new version!

Although I'm a die-hard Police fan, I'm not going to get too excited about covering all the live tracks. I may do some of the first CD of Live! and there are a couple from Certifiable (Invisible Sun, Next To You) that I'll have a crack at. I'd like to get the album tracks and b-sides completed so I'll be focusing on them in the coming days/weeks/months...

Japan - Sons Of Pioneers  added. This needs work on the harmonics all the way though, so given enough interest I'll sort this out. To be honest it's a bit of a yawn (7 minutes of the same riff) but as practice on fretless, it's not bad.

Added two Mock Turtles tracks yesterday, and have just posted "I'll Fly For You" by Spandau Ballet. Let's see how long it is before someone comes along, nicks the customs without asking or providing any feedback, "improves" them and then uploads a duplicate copy....
