Thanks for the birthday wishes all! I'm having a ball here on hols with the family, weather is warm, beer is cold, what more can you ask for? Unfortunately, its coming to end tomorrow, but this does mean i should be able to sneak some scores in this week. ☺

I can't seem to make any progress on Elvis, so that's me done for the next week. I'm off to the tropics tomorrow for a well earned holiday!  :tropical_drink:

I think the beg & int lead songs are fine where they are. Yes, Pearl Jam is fast but they are only power chords so you keep the same hand shape throughout the song. The solo is short and easyish once RR'd a few times.

Elvis has bar chords and a quick change to a completely different hand shape. I'm struggling with this change to the A# & A; I can only hit it 50% of the time at full speed.

I guess my terminology wasn't quite correct. This is the section i was referring to:

I don't think there is any issue with the custom as Frip mentioned above, Fiddlesticks and his runs were close to perfect, it's just technique and Rocksmith's shitty recognition sometimes.

I couple of things that helped me:

1) tune a few cents lower than standard, and

2) When fretting the G chord, make a concious effort to fret the low E string closer to the fret. This seemed to help in the section shown above.

Should be closer to 98% if not for the note recognition issues. That muted G near the end gives me the most grief.

For me, chart cdlc Motley Crue seems very bad, a lot some unplayable and  wrong places, plus need to use vibrato machine.

@, pretty sure you are using the old version of @@Crossbolt242's tab. This was updated in august last year. The version i have (@@Crossbolt242's) does not have any of the above issues you've shown here.

And yes, a whammy bar would make the intro sound correct, but it's not essential - it won't stop you from getting 100%
