I don't get it.. I play bass from august 2014, I'm kinda new on this forum and I want to participate on the challenge. So do I have to play the beginner class or can I choose the Intermediate class?

Well you can go to an artist you know the genre is (i.e) Funk and then press the tag "funk". You will end up here:
