Offline all works perfect. Installed the dll, bought RHCP, got a song from CF... all good.
Just curious.

It would appear that the servers no longer exist? Even looked up the DNS, and yep, no way to sign in. Do we just stay offline and rock on?
This process no longer works. Cannot reset passwords, or create new accounts.

Is this the norm, or are there any hacks to sidestep this?

And yes, getting nagged to enter my key. Never been asked, so keep on getting reminded at startup to enter key. However, I believe the server that consumes the key no longer exists.

Ubi should automatically upgrade your R2014 to Remastered for free, if you have logged into Ubi. If they don't after a few days send them a message through support. Most of us had ours upgraded to Remastered around 2016/17. Remastered works the way 2014 always should have worked. If you have RS1 from 2012, buy remastered.
Then always follow coldrampage's advice. It always works.
 

Doh!! Just bought it today
Doing the dll install again now, and also looking to connect via my asio interface rather than the laggy real tone cable.

I've installed the dll, and now I'm trying to get Wild Thing by the Troggs.
