i think(and i want to belive) no one is that stupid to upload not working cdlc,it takes some time to upload it to download site and submit for database.

so why whould someone do that?maybe its working for him and not for you?happens somtimes...(i dont really know what was the problam since you just said not working..)

and as for unfinished 100% cdlc you cant really complain...charters get so low to zero feedback,and opening topic at workshop probably wont be answerd

so what you have is releasing what you have and consider playable and hope for pepole to help you improve it.

for me,every song i like that someone else made and its good i say thanks-because i dont need to make it!

ppl who just download stuff without creating anything think it should be obvious that if you upload it here it should be like official dlc

while ppl who experienced the proccess know it not that simple and happy to see when new ppl try to make them and help them improve.

if you think somthing free sux and it could be better-leave feedback  or simply start to learn how to make them~

you got the tools you got the tutorials so start!and lets see if you share it with us~ it took me some time before i releasd my 1st custom

Well,to add tone you need to have one.you can create a totaly new tone at tone designer and import it from your game profile file to the toolkit (after you save it in game ofc)

or you can import tone from another song(can do that at toolkit) and work on it till you get the sound you need for your song(thats the easy way).

Tone changes and default tone can be set only at EoF so you will have to do that there:)

if it dosnt work it means the part has some problem that need to be fixed by the creator at eof:)

usualy i just copied stuff somewhere and then moved it to the right position,i guess thats what made the notes to move by a little bit.

i have a problem that somtimes when i try to copy lets say a solo that is in another guiar part in EoF, it will always move some notes a little and somtimes not fully cpoying some techniques and tech notes...id do it in guitar pro but i have no idea how to use it to edit parts-i always do it at EoF.

tldr:i just want the EoF to copy everything and without moving notes:)

btw i use r1341 but i wanna know if its my eof or my settings or so...thx

If there are no tabs anywhere, it means some1 has to tab everything by ear or from non GP file,

which is quite hard job to do it for many songs and takes alot of time.

especialy when most of us still learning - so i dont think i can tab myself -yet- a full song that its not just power chords but also crazy solos

or some other intresting stuff:)

I was also wondering if you could do other JRock bands like DELUHI, GALEYD, or Versailles b/c thay have some incredible guitarists!

If u haven't listen to them you should give them a try craze good guitar in their songs. :D

and i wish i could make cdlc out of any jrock band/song i heard but its hard to find tabs for them .

so if if you have a cool song with good tab i can have a look at it and hopefully make it!:) im always open for new music!

well those after you posted this 1st time...always around 10mb file:)

When it's zoomed, scroll all the way to the right and look at the bottom of the image. It will have 'Save' just above the 'close' button. Simply click on that, zoom again, right click and select 'save image as' as normal ;)

well its very general problam and hard to tell w/o seeing the eof file or so...

all i can think is about what happend me once-i used the wrong .wem file that didnt have leading silence(i probably created .wem file w/o leading silence and then forgot to create new .wem with the leading silence) so EOF had song

with 3 sec lead silence but the song in game didnt..

so it resulted in all the notes out of sync by 3 sec but in EOF it was ok...ofc i didnt realized it so fast xD

idk if it your problem or maybe bpm change or somthing but then it should be out of sync in EOF too i guess...

i hope u using the claps( C ) to check if it syncd well- it really helps.

hmm maybe just clear the boxes up there exept the pc one and try to save.(seems only the mac has problam)

and try to convert it after to mac package if you need it(ive never seen this error sorry)

there is no limit of dlc that i know.

maybe the cdlc you trying to add have diffrent app id than the cherub rock one(seen it happens somtimes)

and if you dont have that song's app id on your list the songs wont show up

if thats the case you can change the app id of the song to cherub rock on the toolkit> Packer/Unpacker tab >App id Updater

I can't speak for everyone, but I can speak for the staff here. We greatly appreciate everything that you and the other charters do. Truth is, without you guys we wouldn't be here at all. Overall providing things like we do, (you and us), is a thankless endeavor. It probably shouldn't be, but it is. 

 

I draw my thanks from the number of people who log on everyday knowing we provide them with a service that is uninterrupted and informative. For you, the thanks would be that people want to not only download your work, but they are enjoying it on a daily basis.

If I may. The reason people don't hit the thanks button is that, well. It's not an in your face button. People just don't realize you can scroll over the bottom of the posted segment and hit a button. I try to thank all the charters and everyone that gives me help. I feel your pain, they say thanks in the thread but don't actually hit the little button on the chat window. The like button is right there, so that's what they hit. Just saying.

 

it's true that the ratio downloads/thanks is ridiculous and it looks like the biggest the forum becomes the less thanks we get from downloaders, but hey, that's just the way it goes

 

This will always be the case. So many people will sign up and just grab a couple of songs and then they're off again. 

 

I'm guilty of this and it's something I'll strive to work on as I aim to become a more active member of this community. Often it's just sheer forgetfulness, I'll download 5 or more songs and it's sometimes a few days or more until I play them, by then I've often forgot about going back to thank the author.

Since most people probably go via the CDLC Search to check new content then they won't see a Thanks button.

I try to leave a comment when I download a custom -- I always forget the thanks button.

 

That said, the customs I'm making are for me first of all -- they're songs I really want to play. Sharing them with everyone else is icing on the cake. And a bit of an ego boost for me, if I'm honest. Yes, it'd be nice to have thanks. But I see the number of downloads as being the best compliment.

 

So if your customs are popular, take it as a compliment!

really guys, i like what im doin and like to share but seeing all this downloads(50-300) i have and maybe 1 thanks for a song

after i spent so much time finding the correct tab,syncin lyrics ,syncing notes,testing again and again and all i get is "song not working" seriusly?i dont know if i keep doin this anymore like this...maybe some ppl think this site just generate songs everyday,but no,there is alot of effort behind every song and the one who made it would like to see some good feedback for his hard job:/(sad)

if its only for 1 player,you could add the 3rd guitar as bunus arrangement

if its for 2 players then better mix it with rhythm otherwise both gonna play the same exept the solo and i guess there is no point?

it happens to me too.what i do is press Esc to bring the menu and go back to the song-it usualy fix that for me till the next time,probably some bug:p
