Yeah, i've never tried making cdlc (but i want to) and inputting all the notes sounds tedious. Like i said there's already a guitar pro of strength (not a text tab only, maybe you misread that), but if you want to i could scan it too . Will scan then on the weekend and send them to you or i'll upload them somewhere and send you the link, you tell me.
the tab that i found is not complete and it stops after the tapping part(yes there is a bass one but i wanted the guitars aswell:))
you can send them to me:D and do it when you can,no rush here:)

ye DAFCGC is Drop C and its a popular tuning and there are alot of songs in that tuning here,you can simlply use the filter on search to find them.
but if you only want to tune to that you can just use the tuner in game as it supported by the game.
just click spacbar and go tuner and then D drop C tuning.

That might be a good idea, i have just one book score so far (abingdon boy school's one), but if we all share we could get a good amount of different bands covered.
Ive always wanted to make Blade chord and Strength:D i love so much these 2 songs:) ofc there are more i like xD
If you want i could send you a scan of those (if you really want to do them), no problem on my end (i don't feel like scanning the whole book tho! haha). The strength guitar pro file that is on the usual guitar tab sites is pretty accurate tho (checked it a while ago when i got the score book).
With score books tabs you just have everything there and 100% accurate,but with text tabs basicly all you have is the notes and everything else you gotta do yourself and importing tab like that into guitar pro or EOF is hard and time consuming.
thats why i do alot of gazette songs coz they are easy to make:) anyway i did 3 ABS songs already and would like to make more! :D
Will appreciate if you will send me the tabs of this 2 songs and i hope its easier than what i think coz ive never done that^^(but pepole do that right?if not how are all the awsome tabs at ultimate guitar:p)

about 1 ye,since rocksmith only have lead and rhythm guitars there are only 2 "real guitar" any other guitar you can only add as bonus(you can decide as bonus lead or rhythm tho)
as mentioned you can use bass track or what i do is use the same tracks of lead/rhythm but when you have to save use 'save as' and put it in a sub folder so you dont overwrite your main tracks.
Making lyrics for japanese music is really time consuming i did it on my 1st customs but then i got lazy + ppl dont really care coz they intrested more in the guitar/bass parts:)
anyway im not sure about other ways than ultra star but that program really does very little of the job if you are looking for the perfect lyrics
somthing like this took me 3-4 hours probably
as you can see on the video the way i did the english words is 1 way of doing it but on the jap words i did extra work and they became blue every syllable.
so cutting words in the right place and keeping them blue to be same as vocals is alot of time,ultrastar wont make your lyrics blue and wont cut your words aswell- that has to be done in EOF.

oh and i wanted to say about the song you are working i tried to see how big is the role of guitar 3 and 4 and if can it be mixed with 1 or 2 like i do somtimes~
well after listening few times to the song i think in my opinion that guitar 1 and 2 can hold the whole song,3&4 dont sound too much like a guitar but rather like a background synth and i guess thats why i could skip making track for them,like,i think i would maybe put few parts of 3 or 4 on the empty space of 1 or 2 but thats me:D
its your choice if you want to chart synth parts aswell,i usualy dont:)
when i see more than 2 guitar parts on the GP file im usualy like- dem,gotta check the live vid now to see what they actualy play and not all the stuff they added on the studio:P i try to avoid making more than 2 guitar parts when i know there are only 2 guitarists/guitars so i go check the live video if there is or try to to hear what s the main thing i hear on the song and thats what i add to my CDLC and that probably what i wanna play/ppl wanna play:)

Vocal means the song has lyrics on it,
I guess its called like that in EOF because in other games that use EOF you can use it to actualy play the vocal part but you cant do that on rocksmith,
Here its just for lyrics.

Have you checked the "remember me" box when you log in? I checked in my GC and there is no problem switching from forum to search.(I mainly use FF)
But if you for some reason need a new browser never use IE! Firefox is the best :lol:

To record the game i like to use bandicam
for getting result like in the video that guy has an old vid on another channel of how he do that.

i dont know about a way to skip tuning(id like to know if there is since it could save time when creating cdlc for testing~)
about playing Eb on E - yes it possible(it will sound abit diffrent ofc),but you need to change the tunning 1st on the toolkit and in the xml file.
(if you only change the tuning at the toolkit the game will let you enter the song at E but it wont detect your notes since the notes are in Eb)
1.Download the rocksmith toolkit and import your psarc song(place the folder you get on the desktop or so)
2.go to the song folder>EoF>select the arrangement XML file you wanna change the tuning for(for example lead guitar) and open it in Notepad.
3.look for the tuning line - you'll see somthing like>>> string0="-1" string1="-1" string2="-1" string3="-1" string4="-1" string5="-1
string 0 is the low E and string 5 is the high E.
4.on Eb tuning all the strings gonna be -1(half step below E) so you just change the value -1 to 0 in all the strings to get E standard tuning.
5.save the file
6.back on the toolkit select the arrangement>Click Edit>change the tuning to E standard there aswell>click ok
7.Click Generate and place your new psarc on dlc folder.
7.you are done.repeat the progress for rhythm aswell

eof say unknown for some other tunning aswell but they still work at game(like drop B and others)
so just click ok and test it in game:)

yes and how do you do that it only allows me to do that at start when creating folder for song
go to wwise and do the same process, but this time the audio file will have the 3 secs of silence at the start so hopefully will fix your issue:)

you mean that the song start immidiatly and notes come some sec after?maybe you didnt create new .wem file with leading silence

i guess its because pepole usualy use tone from another song and the tone might be loud enough for that song you took it from but not for the new one...
anyway every song has his own tones and tone volume for every one of them,so if you want to increase the volume of the tone - import any song to the toolkit>choose tone > click edit and fix volume to whatever you want (id say 25+ is ok but you can test and see whats good for you)>generate>replace it with the old psarc file>done

Hello, thanks for your great work on the Gazette customs. I have found them fun to play.
Now I usually don't want to request customs, but I would love to see some Sex Machineguns customs done, they have been one of my favorite bands for a long time. I could do bass customs from them myself but I love their guitar solos and it would be a shame for the customs not to include them, better leave them for someone who knows their business :)
A quick search in songsterr looks like there are some tabs available for them, don't know how good they are though

I guess some of my favorite songs would be Hanabi-la Daikaten, Fire or Illusion City.
They are a great live band (or at least were in their prime) :)
somtimes i dont get notifications and i discover ppl actualy asked/said somthing and i didnt even know:/

anyways i need to get used to the band before i make their songs for motivation(love the stuff i do:P) and to know who plays what(it helps me alot when i fix guitar parts)
so far i really liked this 1 (no way i can play this soon i think xD)
im donig alot gazette stuff atm and dont have much time so ill wait with it abit but ill keep it in mind! :)

btw im not sure whats the diffrence between the both,one shows that purple thing with the squares in it and chord name
and the other just where to place fingers ant not showing chord name even tho im sure its chord shapes.

if you use the rocksmith to tab tool it takes all your dlc folder and make them GP tabs even the original dlc.
i dont think you can make psarc out of them
but the tool will get you the tab you need:)

i think it happend to me once too and it was weird for me aswell but repacking fixed it if im not wrong..did u try it?:)somtimes random errors show up and repacking fix it~

if you hear the full song as preview it means the charter didnt make preview at EoF, and when you generate the package the toolkit tells you that there is no preview and ask if you want to use the full song as preview.(if you say 'no' it wont generate anything so ye..:P)
making preview is very easy and takes 5 sec but i think many dont know about it.
i dont know if full preview double the file size,back then when i didnt know about how to make preview my cdlcs were still around 4-5 Mb
and now that i use 30 sec preview and quality 8 they are around 8-15 Mb so i guess its the quality:)

Click on the little arrow above the point you want to highlight it and then change the bpm normaly.it will change the bpm to the new one from that point til the end
