I've played Alt-j about 20 times since my last posted score but can't get within 2% of it now  :angry:. F@#k you Rocksmith and your random misses!

Have the same problem, last week was a lot more annoying tho.

This time fortunately its not too much chords.

But yes it sucks a lot, when you do the same chord 20 times in a  row, where the first 10 are correct, then 4 errors, and the rest is correct again. And yet I really can't imagine that i moved my hand.

But maybe it's really me, and i have to figure out how i mess that up :P

Since the last week's song screwd me over, now an afternoon of full dedication for this one.

Yeah I guess I would appreciate some, if they still sound good. If I go lower than D other strings would be needed...

Also a lot of D standard or other slightly off tunings I never play (even if I like the songs), just because im too lazy to change tuning all the time.

Unfortunately I dont remember Song or Artist name, but melody and cover :D

Since i can't hum the melody here i'll just try to describe the album cover. ^^

It showed a guitarist with a skull mask, launching (green?) flashes with his guitar at a dragon.

Would be nice if anyone could recognize, then i could get the (hopefully existing) cdlc :)

Let it sound for a very very short time, and then slightly remove tension from chord so it gets muted.

Thats how you play reggae and ska right?

I'm quiet used to right hand muting with acoustic guitar & finger picking... But that's not related at all i guess :o

And i think (not sure tho) i did it only with down strokes, gonna try up/down then thx Motive ^_^

Then ska-p has very easy chords, would be not too hard to get a good score... BUT! damn he mutes that shit fast! I really can't do that at all. Even if the chords are right it sounds shit... Now considering it, I actually like ska and reggae, yet i didnt have a single song with that muting technique in Rocksmith.

I would really need to improve in there, any suggestions for other songs like that one?

Good news is This week's Mary Jane is even better :)

Cool song, not too hard. It has one of the easiest solos i ever played, but still sounds pretty cool. Would fit for int.

What im really loving at the moment: Dire Straits - Sultans of swing

Its not as hard as I thought in advance, and it has such awesome little riffs in it.

But its a lot of work if you want to do the entire song. Definitifely masterclass.

Epic song, so nice to play. Masterclass. With enough patience even feasible for intermediate players. (Dont let you fool by the first part, its quiet difficult at the beginning, just ignore it for the first times and get it on later)

Turn up difficulty to max and be suprised how nice that song is :).  Probably Masterclass. Also here feasible for int players, but a lot of work.

Most of those songs i will play at least another 50 times. Even if they require a lot of time, for me it would be so worth being able to play them :) Would be nice to see one of it in the Championship sometime! B)

I often expirienced that I didn't like a song in the first place, but after playing it a couple of times I started to like it. Here a rare opposite example, I really liked the song, but playing it was more like meh...

Maybe i'll try the mc one in the next days.

Guess the solo would need some hard work to get a higher score, maybe i'll give it a try tonight. (Or lets say many tries :P )

I once woke up from a nightmare, with a tinnitus in my ears. It never stoped since then. The first time was the toughest time of my life. Especially the doom loop was devastating, where fear and anger even strengthened the effect. Several nights in a row without any sleep, right before the final exams. Other problems seem soo petty in such a moment.

Fortunately acceptance brought salvation eventually. Just ignoring it did the trick for me, now sometimes days pass without me even being aware of it.

So don't give up hope, even if it seems really really bad, it can work out eventually.

I don't even have any problems with sleep anymore :)

There is a way to disable the sound effects. Just go into the sound settings and set effects volume to 0

I was afraid to also disable other effects... But now considering it, I  think that I actually don't care about ANY effects :mrgreen: so i'll just disable them thx!

For the people who had some trouble with the stretching for Silver Bride:

I really recommend the DLC "The Police - Message in a Bottle" Its a great practice for stretches. ( It also has a really cool, yet not too hard solo in it)

At the beginning i really thought Ill never gonna get that... But It really gets better with time.

It uses this pattern:

It really makes a lot of things easyer if you just can do the stretch without even thinking about it.

Sure it takes some time, but I was surprised how much more I can do now after some patience. Never thought i could ever get there with my fingers :lol:

I really like the idea of the Rocksmith Championchip, guess i'll look by sometimes :)

Btw i never use the score attack, because i get annoyed of the additional sound effects... Is it possible to disable them?

All time favorite: Iron maiden - fear of the dark  42 times - 98% (with some "cheating" with the last fast solo i guess :oops: )

Last Dance With Mary Jane 30 times - about 70%

awesome song but it will probably take quiet some time until i really get it :-P
