  1. remove D3DX9_42.dll from rocksmith 2014 folder (or rename temporary) reinstall dx9 june 2010 redist for your system and validate cache again then, remove\rename Rocksmith.ini(it'll generate new one automatically, you can also clear %tmp% folder and try launch RS again if all fine feel free to add dll and modify ini file

I did everything you said but Rocksmith still closes right when I launch it.

  2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LKJvdgRp-g <----- This is a video of what happens when I try to start the game.

I have tried checking my audio settings in my control panel, uninstalling and reinstalling, not having the cable plugged in when starting, verified the game cache multiple times, and I removed custom DLC that may have affected the crash. I can't make it full screen because the game crashes right away.

    Any suggestions???

  3. I decided i wanted to do a acoustic guitar cover for the the Mozart song in Bachsmith. I don't have an electric acoustic guitar so I cant plug it in with the cable so I thought I could use the program OBS to record the guitar with my microphone and the in game audio at the same time. I tried to preview the stream but it said a program was in audio exclusive mode so I went to the settings and it was off (http://prntscr.com/4h2shd ). I restarted both programs to see if it needed to and the error came up again. I went to the OBS settings and made sure my mic was selected http://prntscr.com/4h2rmq ). Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this???
