  1. It converted fine for me.  If you're using an older version of the Toolkit, edit the filename for the cdlc to remove any "." from the filename (other than the extension).

For instance, this song's filename is "Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane - v2.1 - DDC v2.2_p.psarc".  You need to remove "v2.1" and "v2.2" from the filename.  Older versions of the Toolkit can't convert songs with a "." before the extension.

Be careful if you decide to update to a newer version of the Toolkit.  Several Mac users have had problems with customs converted with Toolkit versions released in January.  The songs convert, but don't work in RS.

I've also experienced lots of bugs with the January releases of the Toolkit, so I use a slightly older version, which you can find posted here:

  2. It does happen sometimes randomly, especially with large numbers of customs in the dlc folder.  Always make sure that you wait for the "Enumerating List" to finish before entering Learn A Song.

However, if it is happening on a more consistent basis for you, it's likely that you have a conflict with one or more customs.  It's a bit of a pain, but you'll have to remove all of your customs and add them back in small batches until you find the one(s) causing a problem.

    @@emmet,

Sounds like you might have a conflict with one or more customs.  Try removing all of the ones causing problems and add them back in small batches to see if they work.  Once you get to one that doesn't work again, remove it and verify that the others work.

No...today's update broke Rocksmith's ability to recognize the real tone cable. If it were the issue you suggest...it would not have worked yesterday. The only new variable here, is official update that happened automatically.

My comment wasn't directed at you.  If you read @@emmet's comment, his issue has nothing to do with the real tone cable.  The issue(s) with the real tone cable only affects Windows users.
