  1. Well I mean, what this cable essentially is, is an ADC with an instrument cable at one end and xbox break away usb cable at the other end. So as long as the damage is to the cables and not to the ADC itself, you can always cut off the damaged cable and solder on a fresh or even better one. Mostly the damage will be to the instrument cable, which es getting rolled over or stepped on etc. Or guitar plug itself. But the ADC cast in in plastic are actually protected quite well and should be fine. Take a look at Neutrik Silent Plugs when you taking a hassle to install new guitar jack, they are great for RS cable, sturdy durable and silent, I have them installed on mine.
  2. Interesting. So they started selling it again, but it still crashes on current MacOS. May be they will be willing to fix it, otherwise I see people buying it and complaining that it won't run. Or it is just a money grab, let's hope not.
  3. But they started selling the game again, so may be they will allocate some ressources to make it run in recent MacOS as well.
  4. Updated to MacOS 15.5. Rocksmith still crashing.
  5. Well RS Converter 2.3 runs fine for me on Sonoma 2.14 and was running fine on previous versions of Sonoma as well. I mean if you can't run RS itself it is kind of pointless, but anyway it runs fine.
  6. Tart is a virtual machine? I pulled my old mid 2012 Macbook Pro out of the drawer, used openCore to set up 15.3 on it and et voila I have a running RS again. Was surprised, how well Rocksmith actually runs on this old hardware / new software combo. Only performance issues are that system start up takes long and the initial indexing of psarcs on RS startup is long as well. Exactly as I remember it was on this hardware with Catalina. So if you have an old Mac unsupported you could try OpenCore with 15.3 on it.
  7. Well let's hope for a solution and post here is a solution will come up. I for my self got old MacBook Pro out of drawer which was already out of official macOS updates and out of Steam support, used OpenCore to update it to macOS 15.3 and happily discovered that this combination runs perfectly fine.
  8. For anybody running Rocksmith on a recent Mac. Be aware that recent update to latest macOS 15.4 breaks the Rocksmith. Rocksmith will crash on start, and it seems currently no fix is available. Repair or reinstall is not helping. Considering it is out of support, and has been replaced with cut down no dlc Rocksmith Learn and Play just recently, this is potentially permanent situation and may lock you out of all your dlc cdlc forever on recent Macs. Really bad, as the steams drops support on older macOS versions as well, so I just recently switched to newer Mac because the old one was dropped from Steam support.
  9. Hi there, I am very sad today, because CFSM stopped working on my PC, hope to find some help from this great community! This is what happened. I use CFSM on PC in Mac Mode to clean up new CDLCs before I play them on my Mac. So I typically load a small number of CDLCs already converted in Mac Format into a subfolder in Rocksmith dlc directory, fire up CFSM, run repairs, correct tags and them move them to Mac leaving the Directory clean with ODLC only. This time I noticed at CFSM start up, that the list of CDLC in CFSM contains old CDLC from my last run weeks ago, which are actually no longer in Rocksmith DLC directory as actual files. Run Quick Rescan, no change, old CDLC still in list, no new CDLC appeared. Run Full Rescan, and CFSM crashed with Exception, log is at the end of the post. I was on Version 1.6.0.0. Since then I tried to solve this be moving CDLC files around, tried deleting CDLC from inside CFSM), reinstalling latest CFSM 1.6.0.3 with no clean install option because i wanted to keep my settings, then with clean install option, then uninstalling CFSM via System Settings and Installing again, then repeating this and removing setting folder (where SongInfo.xml situated) before install. Nothing helped, even after clean install and deleting settings folder, old CDLCs happily reappeared in the list. Any ideas how to solve this are greatly appreciated! 2022.11.17 17:59:59]: ==== This is the start of a new CFSM run log ===== [2022.11.17 18:00:00]: Validated RS2014 Installation Directory: D:\Programme\steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014 [2022.11.17 18:00:00]: <MAC MODE> 'Validate D3DX9_42.dll' checkbox is not applicable ... 10. Thanks a lot for fixing it, it works flawlessly now!
  11. By rebuilding you mean repackage?
  12. Hi! I am CDLC user for quite a long time and now came across a CDLC I would really like to play, but one arrangement keeps crashing. It is a CDLC I downloaded here quite a long time ago and which is not available any longer, so it is not mine and I unfortunately have no idea who's the author. The crash is on rhythm arrangement and directly after tuning. All other arrangements (2x lead and bass) work just fine. I checked the tags and found nothing suspicious, like duplicate ids or names and such. then loaded psarc into DLC Builder and ran arrangement analyzer. It flagged all arrangement as faulty , not just the rhythm one. Attached are the screens showing the errors. Unfortunately I have not a slightest idea, if these errors are really what's causing the crash, or how to fix them. Any help is really appreciated.
  13. Thank you so much for posting this! Recommend this beta for every Mac user. I am using RS on Catalina Mac and before this update it was really unstable, I had to restart RS 3-4 times in an hour long playing session. After this update I have not experienced a single RS crash, what and improvement!
