  1. Hello world!

It's been almost 3 years since I have done anything here, but I plan on doing custom dlc again.

I feel like Splatoon 2 deserves way more attention on this site. So I want to make a CDLC of "Without a Dop Doubt", the online lobby soundtrack.

  2. almost done with the first Interlude. Just need to fix some positions and get rid of the compiling error

  3. Be Alone looks like an easy chart, but the author says that it was a bit rushed. Should I worry? If it works indeed, then I'll chart it after the interlude I am working rn.

  4. daydreaming is okay I guess

  5. delaying Interlude update a bit

  6. exams. urg. buuuut next week I'll have monday and tuesday off, hope to continue my work then. Maybe I'll get something done today. What I can say is, that the Interlude will never work, as long as you have Future in your dlc folder. I tried everything and I can't explain the weird error.

  7. forget the first interlude I have enough of the weird compiling errors. Imma upload it later, instead I'll start doing Last Hope as someone requested it

  8. Future update will be out today

  9. good news for Last Hope! I lost progress by forgetting where one of the tabs I made for Last Hope went, so I decided to check the interwebs to find a faster way to tab it. Thnaks to Songsterr I was able to recover very fast and I even foudn every tab needed for every arrangement. It is difficult to place a pattern, since the notes sometimes go longer or shorter, making the tab a bit out of sync. That's probably the only thing I gotta do beside making the tones. You can expect a Lead guitar, which is about the same length and difficulty as "The Only Exception". It ain't much, but it's in E Standard. The rhythm guitar on the other hand fullfills most of the chart, but it's in C# F# B E A# C. My guitar can't tune like that, so there's no way for me to tell whether the chart is properly and whether the notes are correct. All I can do is suit the timing and the pattern.

  10. Hate to see your heart break is easy but also hard

  11. I finally found time to work on Last Hope. The bass chart is almost done, though I need to add some small parts in the chorus. While making the chart I realised, that this song is a disaster in terms of rhythm. The pattern I had to create was completely strange, as if they did the song without tact. But it wasn't too hard I guess. When I listened to this song in its full length a few days ago, I thought I'd have less problems charting the "break", well I was wrong. Happy that I am over it. When I looked at the guitar chart with the weird tuning, I realised that the chorus, or as I call it, the loud part, is not loud because of the guitar, but rather because of the bass. Either that or I have to check it again. But what I am trying to say is, that I will have huge difficultiues checking the guitar chart during that part, as I cannot hear it at all. An another issue might be the length of the E Standard guitar chart. I am not quite sure,, whether you would like to play a few notes like in "The only exception", which btw also had a strange guitar tuning. If I can, I'll add a few chords in the E standard chart, I think I even saw a youtube video with a chart for it

  12. I finally made the correct bass patten. Now I need to find out the fret positions.

  13. I have been working very hard today. Result: The interlude's error is not fixed. I tried to fix every connection it has to Future (the tone names) but all I accomplished was to make Future work again, while the interlude dissappears from the dlc list. I tried to regenerate them, but with no success. This is all I could do, and I tried it twice. But bad news aside: Last Hope is 40% ready, means that it needs less polishing than 2 days ago, the tones which will be 100% new this time and the vocals. Future will receive an update soon! I figured how to make Arpeggios and changed the acoustic tone a little bit. The reason why I am not releasing it yet is the tone entry. Apparently I still have some issues with it, gonna need to rewatch some tutorials about the toolkit. The tones are either not there or only the acoustic tone shows up (if I chose it as a base and leave out other boxes)

Looking forwards to that Future update and Last Hope. Probably the Interlude too, so I can get my ass handed over to me. Don't burn yourself out, take a break if you need it :D

  14. I see why no one has charted Shacklers Revenge by Guns n Roses yet

  15. I wasable to fix the compiling error of the interlude. Now I can continue optimizing it, but there will be no lyrics due to a Pc problem I don't really understand. Last hope willbe charted after I am finished.

  16. I will have trouble charting the second Interlude, "I'm not Angry". It's faster, crazier and more random than the first Interlude "Moving On". There is no bass again, but I'll still do it last I think.

  17. I've been working on Future by Paramore. The chart for the lead is almost done, then I'll do the bass chart and probably the rhythm chart, which will be in Drop-D (the lead chart is in E-Standard). I hope to manage making the tones too, but I have an idea how I'll make the tone for the solo in the end.)

  18. Imma just drop some opinions on the tabs before I start creating them. Let's start with Native tongue! Apparently, the chart is either E Standard or C# Standard. Either way, it looks like there are proper tabs for it. Solo might be a lil weird tho

  19. Interlude Moving On had no difficult notes, but the strumming pattern was a struggling experience. BPM? Tacts? Who needs that, just play whatever you want!

  20. Interlude: Movin On will be released within the next few days

  21. Last hope is a crazy disaster

  22. Last Hope is soon to be finished. So let me spill out what has been done so far and what needs to be done. At first, the bass chart: Yes, I was able to finish it. I added some additional notes on the G string when it was necessary. The slide ups were difficult, but I found the fret positions, so it does sound right now. Tones are done too, apparently I only needed 2 so far; bass and chorus tone. Lead chart is also done, so technically I could release the cdlc, but I think its better if I fix the small mistakes first and upload it later then. There will be no lyrics. Sadly, I found this out, when I was done with it. I should someday remember that it's not possible to do the lyrics after making the leading silence. Rhythm chart isn't finished - and it will be hard for me to check the notes, as I can't tune my guitar to this tuning or any other strange tuning. I can do the pattern and remove some chords that are impossible to play - thanks Songsterr, we definetely need barre chords that are only half barre chords, on which you have to use an extra finger on the first string. Gee, they did not even add the finger positions, so how does this even work??? Anyway, I'm not really sure about the phrases. Songsterr added them too, but they are too long and can start without any actual phrases going on. And one last thing - I realized that I am very lazy. If it takes to long for me to make process, then it's probably because I am lacking motivation. I am sorry that I take too long because of this and I am looking forward to finish the cdlc.

Hey, take your time dude! Don't feel bad for feeling unmotivated. It happens, especially on these times. Good to hear that you were able to do some progress! Looking forward to it, loved your Future CDLC. Now I just need to manage to buy a replacement e string to fully enjoy it again D:

  24. Last Hope's Bass is pretty tricky. And the chart I got is full with flaws. Yikes.

  25. next week holidays start. No more school. Then I can finally continue my project.
