a bit of an improvement for me

alternate picking is always the way to go you can get more BPM's (Beats per minute) with alternate picking which translates into hitting more notes at a faster pace. In the beginning alternate picking can be challenging but once you get used to it you will never go back to just down strokes.

Great scores everyone really great job. This has been a great week for the bass players so many 100s its very impressive. Start updating your selections for next week guys.

@@Azrael welcome to the championship and don't worry about getting the image to show up as we will follow the link and see the score. The issue is with the forums as they don't allow linking to images that don't end with .jpg. You can use imgur if you want to upload your images and link to them and have them show in the forum if you want but its not necessary. Great score by the way.

Lol ill be going down to beginner after this week

Will try it again tonight and see if I can get better than 83% on it, the chord switching from fret 10 and fret 12 is what seems to give me the most issues but overall all the chords seem to either hit or miss no matter how I hold the chord and when I strum but it could be that I am not used to the rhythm yet. I will post a score on it tonight. I will also try to get a good score on the MC song as I haven't posted anything on either song because I just don't like the scores I have gotten.
-
I thought i was the only one having issues with the wolfmother song... i can do the hammer-on sections ok but the chord sections i miss way to often. It's very irritating.
-
Welcome back Mr Pi great score there man.

Some great starting scores guys keep em coming. On a side note after I snapped a string yesterday I decided to try a new set of strings to see how they would fair with Rocksmith, I purchased 2 sets of Ernie ball Top Light Bottom Heavy strings 10s - 52s to see if it would be good with the drop tunings and I must say that from what I had a chance to try last night they worked really well. I still haven't tried them on last weeks songs which is what I wanted to do but I think these strings are going to be the best possible strings for Rocksmith as it may help avoid the recognition issues and they appear to work well for bending as I didn't seem to have any issues when trying bends with these new strings. Surprisingly they stayed in Tune very well for being new strings and I only had to retune maybe twice after putting them on. The thicker strings give such a meatier sound that I love it. I will keep you all posted when I am able to check on the other songs.
-
snapped a string so have to go and buy some more packs of strings. Hopefully will be able to post a score today.
-
Congrats man glad to hear everything is great with the baby. Looking forward to seeing your scores. Enjoy your time with the new baby the competition isn't going anywhere.

Song Selection List (Work in progress)
in Rocksmith Championship
Posted
I will add this to the list as it should definitely be in MC class but the tuning on the CDLC is difficult for people because Rocksmith has a problem detecting notes when the tuning is below drop D or D standard. Please forgive @ as his english isn't that great but he is learning. This is all he meant to say as far as the tuning is concerned. We have had many songs in lower tunings give us problems with note recognition and it makes it not as fun when you have to fight with the game to recognize that you are playing the note. As I said I will add it to the list. Thank you for your submission.
