The out of memory exception is probably because the file is too big to unpack with the toolkit since it's a 32 bit program. Even if you unpacked it all the files are stored as individual sng/xml/wem files, half of which have a random number as a name so you'd have to sort through every single dlc song and piece them together manually.

    It's really not worth trying.

  2. When I create my CDLC with songs that don't have the standard tuning, or aren't Drop D tuning, I use the Multipitch pedal, that way the song sounds as if it was on another pitch but I don't have to actually tune my guitar/bass every time I play different songs.

I was wondering if there was any way to edit the songs contained in rs1compatibilitydisc_p.psarc with the Toolkit, and if so, if there's a tutorial on how to do it. If there isn't, where should I start? Do I treat this file as if it was CDLC and do it in the CDLC Creator tab? Do I have to start in the Packer/Unpacker tab? I've tried doing it in the CDLC Creator tab by importing the rs1compatibilitydisc_p.psarc file but after a few minutes it errors out saying "Found too many *.bnk files. SongPacks can not be auto loaded", just after the status is Validating XML files and Loading Package Data

Just tried the Packer/Unpacker tab and got "Unpacking is complet ewith the following errors: Could not create Template XML file for: rs1compatibilitydisc_p.psarc. Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown"

Any help/guidance would be much appreciated

  3. I have over 80+ CDLC in this site and would like to chart more.

There's a Bring Me The Horizon song (Mother Tongue) that could be played on E standard, except there's a struming in the last chorus that is so low can't be played on E, and must be played it a lower tunning (maybe A or B, whatever).

So I was planning on doing this, I just need someone to tell me if it will work, and how to do it:

I was thinking on charting it on E standard, and on that low tunning part, chart it still on E standard, and add a "lower tone" tone change to it, and then go back to the E standard, regular tone. Similar to the octave down in the bass tone of the verse of Last Resort by Papa Roach

I see there's an option on the toolkit to edit a tone and add a Pre Pedal/loop pedal effect to it. There are a couple that start with "Pitch:" so I'm assuming I need to choose one of them, and then choose the knob settings. The questions are:

    1. Should I choose a pre pedal, or a loop pedal?

    2. If the chart is in E standard, and that special tone would be used for a chord that should played in A standard, how would I know what to put in the knob settings?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. @@PabloAriz, I'd suggest to you use eof-based workshop for all of your afi songs, keep every notes.eof file with guitar.ogg for every song you did(and keep tabs just incase) so you could quickly make some changes without importing\ exporting anything over and over again, also click "save package" before you click generated and you'll get cdlc template saved so you could generate things again just load it back in toolkit, you could read more tips at tutorials section if you wanna to :)

one more time, you can just import things you already did, go to dlc2tab and produce gp5 for you cdlc, than use gp import in eof and all should back to normal, but don't use it often, sometimes cdlc2tab gives a bad results for non 4/4 TS songs

@@Alex360 Thank you for your continuous help, support and tips!

  5. Thanks. I now have this issue:

I did not import any GuitarPro phrases when importing the tabs. Now, when I import the .psarc file using the Toolkit, and open the .ogg file and import the .xml file in EOF, the palm muting, pull offs, hammer ons and such do not appear. Is there any other way to add phrases while keeping the PM, pull offs and such? or do I basically have to start over? Because I made some changes to the tabs on EOF that I did not change on Guitar Pro.

  6. Hello,

I just noticed that in several of the customs I've made, the fret board appears from the 1st ot the 24th fret all the time, while there are no high notes. What am I doing wrong?

I'd appreciate if anyone could check my CDLC and let me know what's wrong so I can fix them:

  7. Alright, so after I create the beat map using Sonic Visualizer, I import it on EOF and most of the anchors are, let's say, 160-180 bpm when the song is actually 80-90 bpm, and I can't hit the Halve bpm button because it's grayed out. Is there any way to solve this? Because it's not like some of them are doubled, it's all of them.

I've tried all the different methods on Sonic Visualizer (tempo and beats) and the results are the same.

    Any help would be appreciated!
