12 string guitar sound so smooth and nice, still not a way to play it for me, I guess GNR used it a lot or who it was I saw it first time IDK :D
I agree. It sound great, but it's not the guitar for me. I think the first time I saw someone playing a 12 string guitar was bon jovi playing an acoustic version of Livin on a Prayer.
I was being sarcastic, LOL. I am aware of the existence of Stairway to Heaven (and Hotel California). :P Cool vid though! That was super badass.
One thing you got to know about me, 99% of the time, Sarcasm will go straight over my head. Then again, it's kinda hard to convey sarcasm through an internet forum lol.

Guitar makers, man...... one of these days some crazy person is gonna be like "Let's make a guitar with TWELVE STRINGS!!! That'll be sooooo extreme!!!"
Fender has already made a commercially available 12-string acoustic guitar for only $449
Check out this guy playing the Game of Thrones theme on it:

You could add lyrics along the lines of "(feedback)" to appear on screen at the appropriate time, if there were no conflicting lyrics or if that isn't a concern.
Good suggestion, but I'm not really a big fan of adding non-lyrical messages into the lyrics section of a CDLC. Perhaps I'll just add a note about the feedback effect in the authors notes.

So I'm working on a CDLC that incorporates some guitar feedback into its song and I was wondering. Is there any proper way to chart out a 'feedback effect' for a certain note? Should I substitute it with a pinch harmonic? Or should it be left blank? For those that don't know what a feedback effect is, here's a video explaining how it's done:

That's great to hear man! I can completely relate to your story. Rocksmith 2014 would probably be boring/expensive if it wasn't for CDLC.
As a fellow creator, That's what people like me are here for! Most of us do this in our spare time and don't ask for anything in return, so it's always nice to hear someone appreciating and enjoying our work.

The problem for me seems to be accessing Ignition through the forums site, I typed in the actual URL of the Ignition search service and it worked fine for me.
Don't know if it will work for you but here's the CDLC Ignition URL (Browse): http://ignition.customsforge.com/search/browse

When I bought Rocksmith, I really liked the idea of CDLC, so much so I decided to try it out myself. I've only charted 1 song and have another on standby. I mostly chart songs that have already been published mostly because all the songs I want to chart myself have already been done (and some of those tabs need a bit of work to fix up.) I probably should have asked this before posting my first CDLC but I'll ask now:
Are there any rules regarding posting CDLC that other charters have already done? If so, what is allowed and what isn't. Also, is there anything I should keep in mind about posting CDLC already made?
P.S. I just want to point out, I'm not re-posting CDLC already made by someone else, my charts are original as I tab out these songs myself.

Hey, for the List of Initialisms and Acronyms, there was no mention of the * (asterisk) symbol. I've encountered the * symbol quite a bit while using EOF and I don't know what it means or how to apply it to a note when creating a CDLC. Does anyone know what the * symbol means?
