I'm a lazy snore-bag bassist.... which is exactly WHY I won't be giving it a go :D I hated that song last year and I hate it this year. If It's picked next halloween I'll be having words... :)

I was getting wrist pain and was diagnosed with tendonitis. It wasn't actually caused by playing my bass but I do a LOT of crochet and of which was the main cause of the tendonitis. Playing bass aggravated it somewhat though which made me sad as I felt I couldn't play as long as I'd like without permanently damaging myself. I did wear a temporary wrist support which helped for everyday stuff but was a hinderance when playing bass (or crocheting). A friend of mine suggested I do weights, so I started doing dumbbell lifts and recently bought a bench press (because I enjoyed the additional training) and honestly, it's worked a treat. I play for several hours a night and the nice thing about doing weights is you only need to do 1 or 2 sets from the start to begin building your wrist strength. It's not a solution for everyone as I don't know how your overall fitness is but, if you do have an already good level, try it. ( Disclaimer: Make sure you look for some instruction on the type of weights/what load is suitable for you etc first though... don't want you dropping a 30kg load on your head.)  ;)

Rio... I think that album cover has the same wallpaper as my old local... the band may have actually been playing in the pub when recording this because it sounds quite authentic to that kind of pub vibe :) nice tune... missed a note, not bothered to improve it though. Minerva... my recognition's a bit off maybe sound better on my Jazz bass but meh, not that bothered tbh. I like Deftones, saw them at Download in the early naughties. Got horrendous sunburn... they were of their time though... I'm just not THAT emo anymore :) joint beginner song I reck'n.

I will try an MC attempt this week but really not feeling this week at all and want to play other stuff. Think a little break from the champs is needed to fully recover from a pretty lousy couple of weeks being ill. Still not 100% :( so yeah. Slight improvement on advanced. I have burned my first finger on my fretting hand from sliding so much... I can play that slapping/slidey phrase pretty well now, only now I am in agony so I am hoping there will be a hardening by tomorrow. Video's will be pending on blister bursting and superglue effectiveness.

I don't think I'm going to manage MC at all. I can't focus much and my coughing and sneezing is interrupting my streak. I'm pretty gross right now.  :disappointed:

I've only got about 2.7% love left to give and I tend to use that last bit to secretly eat bags of licorice allsorts when I am alone. 2.7% love would probably only equate to a personal message describing a foot rub, anyways :) @@missis sumner may be able to help though but I think she may call The Police :)

My slap technique is REAALLY quite poo... but it's less poo than earlier so I'm going to polish it some more and hope that if I smudge it around a bit, no one will really notice how bad it is. Your score may indeed remain better than mine if I stay crap at slap :D

I seem to be having an issue with Rocksmith's audio. Thought I'd ask here first before casting a net. There seems to be gaps and jarring in the sound, like a record skipping then making a whirring noise like a tape's got jammed in a cassette deck (Cassette deck = ye olde music device, for those born post 2000) then it'll carry on as normal but with intermittent disconnections and buzzing. It's not my headphones or sound card it seems it's an actual fault with Rocksmith itself as it's happening in the start up as it's loading up. It's actually really quite bad and I am not able to play because of these horrible noise interruptions putting me off or just all together wrecking the song. Any advice is much appreciated :)

Ignore... it is something on my end that's causing the problem. gonna try sort it now :)

Fixed! If you ever find you're having sound issues like buzzing and cutting out/freezing while playing a game, switch that annoying Cortana thing off... she's a flippin' pain! ( this wasn't meant to rhyme.) Windows 10 has been a big bag of balls.
