hope you don't mind if i use this thread to ask a question.

i wanted to stop working with cdlc's so i got them all out and left only odlc's in my dlc folder and took out the d3dx9_42dll but i was not sure if it was the right dll so i inserted a cdlc and it still worked.

sorry if the explanation was longer than needed .

what is the right dll to extract? i can't see another. 

ok i don't know whats going on but it's getting worst

i used the csfm to fixed some cdlc that i had in the download folder and it didn't finish the job,it moved two files to corrupt and didn't touch the rest at all declared "finished repair" and when i closed it ,it just vanished completely from my computer.

ok so i needed to check the rs compatibility checkbox in the csfm and now it can see all the package but i don't understand

am i supposed to have all this odlc"s? they are not selectable or togglebale and how am i supposed to fix it ?

 i do have rs1_compatibilitydlc_p.psarc i didn't know the update gave us that.

why didn't ubisoft published it better? it can increase the old songs sales. many great songs in the old version.

anyway i uninstalled and installed again and the song is there to be played but it's not n any visible folder .

never mind.i'll just let it go and hope it won't cause any trouble.

i just used csfm and it didn't find the song either 

i don't own the original rs1 dlc compatibility ,i have the patch from here and i am not sure if you understood but i can play song ,the weird thing is that i can't find it anywhere in the rocksmith folders and i don't know where it's hidden.

i wanted to get it out of the game to see if it's really the problematic one.(i am sure it is because i already took out the rest of cdlc's)

about the cfsm ,yes i'll try it ,i don't use it usually and i have the feeling it slows rs down (maybe false feeling)but yes i will try it.

i have found it in steam in the store as dlc for rs 2012 and it says that i have it in my library but it is not in my library at all and i don't have the old rs. 

i am having a weird problem with one dlc wich i do not know where it came from (not sure if i bought it) it does not appear in my steam library and it is not in the costumeforge cdlc site.

i can not find it's location inside  rocksmith and it seems to make some kind of conflict with the rest of the game .

ex: sometimes in arcade games the game shows level 1 when i am actually in other level and twice in temple of bends the character started to climb by himself without me bending any string (did it very well and fast) also some riffs in the riff repeater recommended by the program where just empty spaces between real riffs and it just says 0 mistakes but not change difficulty or advance.

the game is "lovesong" by the cure.

hi guys

i wanted to make a cdlc only with the gp5 file (only notes no mp3 background music)

i did not find the answer on the manual and eof asks for a music file

lol

i knew someone will say that eventually.

but in fact it is somehow a music sharing site and the cdlc's are made from mp3's and author's rights are kind of being violated anyway .

what is really the difference if i play one at the time or as a playlist?

i don't see a reason to have the same music twice in two different formats and use twice the space in my hard disk.

anyway i allready mentioned that my question may be a stupid one and i guess it is..jjj

what i do is put the nonstopplay in the background by tunning so i only have to  tune the first song.

but i wanted it shuffled.

why does the csm only plays one song each time?

sure i can do it but i wanted to play the songs in my rs file .

if i want to do a youtube playlist i will need to look for them one by one  and make it.

i found an ogg player but it means i need to unpack all the songs .

maybe thats what ill do

i want to play my beloved cdlc's in the background as a playlist while i am cleaning or studying ,etc.

the rs nonstopplay asks for tunning and it stops the fluency so i need to go and press the non tunning button and i tried to put it in disconected mode but then it asks to press enter when you are tuned so it is not good.

the songs manager only lays one at the time.

yes i know i can download it in any other format but why if allready have the song?

is there any psarc media player or some way to do it?

i hope this not another stupid question and sorry if my english was not to clear.

sorry for the stupid question but ....

what is the situation on the 100 % bug? i got lost in the forum.

i see a new check box in the toolkit in the ddc section that fixes it and i used it and worked well.

did a couple of songs.

i was told there is going to be one button solution in cfsm to fix all at once.

i don't know what is "cli" and i got really confused with the batches ,etc.

i tried to used the batch drag and drop and got a mesage "ok" but nothing happened and i am not sure to where the changed file went to.

it's chineese to me.i am not so computer guy.

i was not sure where to post this.

the minigames in rocksmith are great and it's a fun way to practice techniques.

i was wondering if there is a way to make some minigames or maybe in fact biger games using the same technology with the real tone cable.

the possibilities are endless having a guitar as a controler you have so many buttons as yor imagination alows you .

i for example would like to see things like story modes similar to castlechordead but why not make it biger and more serious as a starting musician making his way to the top and having to make small gigs to make a living ,some side stories as his relationship with his girlfriend or his parents being influenced by his faluires or any other conflicts.

can be interesting for example to follow a real rock legend like elvis or bowie from his begining trought his life learning his songs chronologically with some real life videos and news.

I am looking for slow songs not necessarily easy songs.

I know chords and like to learn chord changes I am just not fast enough with my fingers and it is also my preference .

a good example for what I am  looking for will be "unchained melody "

i have the xbox and pc version and the same cable works for both.

when i first pluged in the cable to the pc i had the same problem.

i fixed it by doing two things .

1) by right click on the speaker icon -troubleshoot sound problems and let windows do it.

2) in the rs options "gain settings" increase the gain until you can hear it well

i was looking for slow songs /cdlc to dowload since i am a beginer and i haven't develope the speed yet in my fingers to do many of the song.

searching the database i can find some but most of the dlc's are more for fast fingering and i don't have the knowlege to know wich artist are what i am looking for.

can you recomend some artists or songs for my need?

i allready made the changes and change the grafics to minimum (it is not a grafic game .lol)

the problem is only with some cdlc's ,to be sure i took out all the cdlc's and left only the original rs songs and it worked perfect.

i guess not all the cdlc's are made well ,i just need to filter them.

btw i love this site!

the original rocksmith songs are not my taste and some are hatefull (rotten apple).

this game is much better with a big song variety
