Hi There, Using Guitar Pro 6 and lately I have seen a lot of tab files ending in GPX. Rather than .gp5, .gp4, .gp3 etc. My problem is EOF doesn't "see" those files in the directory. I tried save as in GP but it won't let me save in an earlier version. Anyone has a solution?

  3. Started by ikwtif,

I probably missed it somewhere, but is it possible to change bpm somewhere during the song so all following beat markers have the new, constant bpm? Or do you have to set up every beat marker seperatly?

  4. Hi there! I am Saka and I have an important question regarding EOF ( It's BPM specifically) if anyone can answer. So, What I'm trying to do; Sync Lead, Rhythm, and Bass arrangements up. What was accomplished; I've Synced the starting note for all arrangements at the beginning and up to 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through. Problem; When I change the ending BPM to a faster beat after slowing the beat down for the last BPM change, the notes are cutoff for going off-track/ending of song. So far I've tried almost every possible combination to get around this 'cut' but it ends up happening either way or the notes do not end up being on the right beat. Question; Could someone…

  5. Started by Slixter,

Tried doing a search but couldn't find a decent answer, so I'm posting this question: I'm done syncing a new Custom (only my 2nd), and tried generating FHP. It worked fine automatically for the rhythm track, but I've had to enter some manually for the lead track. I came across one that's got me totally confused on how to play it. It's a 2-note chord at the 14th fret on G string, and 15th fret on the high e string. I must mention that this chord then switches to 12th fret on B string with 15th fret on high e (which is commonly 1st and 4th fingers). Just wondering what fingers I should assign to this 1st chord, keeping in mind comfort and ease with which to flow easy…

How do you properly load a save in EoF? When I load my notes.eof file the leading silence I added to the audio dissapeared. Do you have to add in the silence everytime you load the file? And do you have to make the preview audio again first? --- Is it possible to load the notes over a different audio track? Whenever I try loading the *.XML file the notes never show up

  7. I'm trying to sync up a song that has 0 timestamps and notes are always close together, now i need to sync every note by itself. If there was a way i could sync it by pressing a button (got a rhythm in my head) at the right time rather than finding a tiny little section on Waveform graph where the note starts. Talking about Waveform graph. Is there any way of making this bad boy bigger? I find it really small and like i stated before, finding the exact position the note starts on is painful. Any ideas on how to improve my syncing process, increase waveform graph? Thanks!

Hi there, working on a file where the tabs are out of wack with the mp3. Because every single note has to be adjusted, it takes a lot of EOF time... What I found is that working on the notes, I end up with notes to be played either after the mp3 ends or way before so your notes ends but the song keeps on going. That's where I'm at right now. Is there a way to delete bars? right now I have 6 at the end that I need to remove. How do I go about doing that? there are no notes in those 6 bars but in the 7th I have a final chord (I have synched this one to the end of the mp3, no now I have those 6 bars in the middle that I need to get rid of. First time encountering tha…

  9. After having - synced a project in EOF (with a lot of anchors and different BPM inbetween) - added silence and an offset to 0 (additional beat) I sometimes would like to - import a complete alternate GP5 for comparison - import a part of a GP5 consisting of some corrected/alternate bars (i.e. Solo) in an unused track. Tabs are imported in EOF at the 1st beat, with the BPM of these starting positions. Am I missing something in EOF, (or has this been answered before ?) but it doesn't seem possible to import a Gp5 in EOF at the closest/next beat of the current position (green vertical line) and respect the BPM of these positions. Solutions : 1. In EOF "Beat - Push O…

  10. I want to make a Bonus Lead arrangement. I know I can use Part Real Bass 22 for this. But now I need it to be in Drop D, the tuning in de guitarpro menu is made for a 6-string bass I suppose, but anyway I'm having troubles getting the notes registered right in RS. What values should I put in the Guitarpro menu and what values in the toolkit? (for drop D)

  11. Started by Pakko,

Hi guys, I need you ! :D I used Ultrastar Creator to sync my lyrics with the song, I imported them in EOF but when I try to save i got this message : "Rocksmith lyric export failed. Make sure there are no Unicode or extended ASCII characters in the chart's file path, because EOF's lyric export doesn't support them." I converted the txt file in UTF8 without BOM but the same thing happened... So if you have solutions to fix it... Thanks :) (Excuse my English, i'm french)

    I can't get them to work. They look horrible in game, as they are represented by a whole-chord hammer-on and not by a single-note-during-a-chord hammer-on. This is what I want: e ---------------- B -6-----6------- G -7h8--8------ D -8-----8------- A ---------------- E -------------- This is how it is displayed in-game: e ----------------- B -6h6---6--- G -7h8---8--- D -8h8---8-- A ---------------- E -------------- Is there any way to do it?

  14. I'm trying to add a high note but it turns to a X and i believe that is a mute so does anyone know how to fix this?

  15. i wanted to add sections in someones pscars because for some reason the dd sections arent rs sections (rr doesnt work) and even if they were they are placed in random spots. (also because he doesnt reply since its almost over a year old) so how do you delete the dd and sections because when i press delete dd it says warning there is one populated difficulty beyond the first 5 difficulties only the first 5 will export to midi, and when i press manage rs phases its not the list that i remember its just a difficulty list and if i press delete level then it will delete the notes that i want sooo im confused.

  16. So just what the tittle says. at the moment the chords are the length of the 24 frets eventhough ive defined the fingering. also im getting errors about handshapes before the notes or notes are lower than the highlighted fret. but i have no idea what to do because i've never encountered this problem before.

  17. As the title suggest, below is the EoF error that I'm getting: http://i.imgur.com/lxhE75c.jpg In case it's tough to see, it seeks to the arpeggio chord all the way to the left of the pic. It does actually save the arrangement .xml, but I get the following error in the Toolkit when trying to add it: http://i.imgur.com/XRC5iIJ.jpg I am in fact using the latest version of EoF (1432). Here's the arrangement's .xml: https://www.dropbox.com/s/arrwi04wmwtsndx/PART%20REAL_GUITAR_22_RS2.xml?dl=0 Deleting the entire arpeggio and re-charting it did not work. Some backround: This project is nearly a year old, and used to work perfectly until I decided to swap in a new .ogg, wh…

How would I go about adding a capo to a cdlc that I downloaded that didn't have it originally but needs it?

  19. Started by myrivals,

Hi I'm doing a DLC which requires a capo on the 14th fret. I've searched topics which are talking about this subject but I found nothing. Sooo, I was wondering, where do I put which fret must be the capo on in EoF ? Thanks :D

  20. Started by Aquilae,

I've got a question about how to author handshapes in sections where fingers are added or removed from a chord. Im my case I have arpeggio-like sections like a 5-7 where the bass note is left ringing out while the note on the next string is strummed. Marking a handshape as-is works fine for this. However, later in the riff a finger added to play 5-9 or pulled off to play 5-5, and I'm not sure how to author the handshapes to properly support this. Each individual note has the correct fingering applied to it. http://i.imgur.com/ET8xyhR.png In this case the added/removed note is only played once before returning to the default hand position. I've tried marking those in…

  22. Started by PyroBillie,

So often when I make a cdlc there are no bass tabs available, but for *most* songs the bass tab looks alot like the rythm guitar tab, so what I do is select all, copy and paste in bass. Then select all, deselect single notes, clear orange, deselect single notes, clear blue, deselect single notes, clear yellow. now all the chords are reduced to their bass note. Also PM are almost not used in bass, in some guitar genres alot (the ones I'm making anyway) So now I still have to delete (make normal notes) out the PM, what can be alot of selecting work, following complex chug patterns. Also later on checking out the total bass tab offcourse. But now what I suggest is a 'Ba…

While I haven't done that many CDLC's in the past, I've never had this problem, and I'm a bit lost. So long story short, these show up and work perfectly: http://i.imgur.com/cenESPV.png But e.g., these do not. Later on when green/orange repeats, they show up correctly again. http://i.imgur.com/vYsmVzY.png What am I doing wrong here? First I thought it was somehow about the sections, so I completely removed them but nothing. Doing non-DD.

  25. Hello, My name is Ben and I have recently made a few CDLCs. However, some people have been requesting dynamic difficulty, and I know that there is a Creator that does it for you in RS Toolkit, but I can't figure out how to seperate the song into phrases. Can anyone help me? If so, that would be awesome
