Hi all, actually I'm creating customs from Guitar Pro tabs that I wrote for education. This blues exercises are inspired by the book "Play Blues Guitar" by Jürgen Kumlehn, but I took only the riffs (Lead) and create full tracks of it with Lead, Rhythm, Bass and Drums in GP6. Thanks to Guitar Pro 6 which is able to convert the tabs also to wav, so I use the GP audio. (To record everything would be much to much work). The idea is to use this customs for practicing some standard

Hi,   I though I would post my progress as I have been a big user of Rocksmith the past few years.   I got into a habit of playing a good 20mins a day booting up the PC on the morning and doing one lesson practice track and a run of what ever song I am working on. I have found I flitter between songs often depending on what I am listening too at the time.   I got a little down the other day when I realised that I don't feel I am really making the kind of process I need to. I still can't play a f

Hello, I recently tried my hand in making my own CDLC. However, I've ran into the problem - strings that are unused in chords are horribly artifacting/glitching, making the whole note highway unreadable. I've tried to regenerate it and redo it once again, but to no avail.   Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.   Screenshot of said glitch: https://puu.sh/usB3j/7f426bf2d9.jpg

Just as the title says, most creators use GP files to make a CDLC, it's also possible from text tabs. But for songs that haven't got any tab available, you can try it out with Chordify. https://chordify.net/ Works best for easy songs (your typical 4 chord song) (pop, hiphop, rap, punk songs) Also modern songs with easy BPM and timings.   In this video I show you how to create a Rocksmith 2014 Custom Song (CDLC) with Editor On Fire (EoF) when there aren't any tabs available. To understand anything

I'm a little upset, I was just about to finish my song up and after I made a few tweaks and tested it in game, it started to show all the chords separately as seen in the images.   However in EOF, I changed nothing about the notes. Does anyone know why this happened or how to fix this and display them as they usually are, I've never had this problem before.   Also I am using EOF version 1.8RC10  (r1337) with no hotfix. (The hotfix brakes my EOF and it wont launch)   Any help would be great.   ht

Hey everyone, this is my first post here. I'm fairly new to CDLC, but after a couple weeks I think I get the whole process pretty well. I'm still getting used to Editor on Fire, especially since most tutorials revolve around importing Guitar Pro tabs while I prefer inputting the notes directly into EOF. I understand beat mapping, sustaining notes, bends, slides, fret hand positions, tech notes, all that good stuff. There are some things I have a few questions about though:   1. Is there a way to

Hi there,   Need some help in figuring out some tabs. There are a couple of songs I like that do not have tabs posted. On U-G, 911 and Songsterr the songs shows tabs but people tabbed the intro and solo but that's it. The rest are just chords...Obviously it's not as easy as importing into guitar pro to tab it properly, or is it?   For example, the intro is fully tabbed then they list the chords all the way to the solo, the solo is tabbed and then there some sort of pattern where the chords repea

So often when I make a cdlc there are no bass tabs available, but for *most* songs the bass tab looks alot like the rythm guitar tab, so what I do is select all, copy and paste in bass. Then select all, deselect single notes, clear orange, deselect single notes, clear blue, deselect single notes, clear yellow. now all the chords are reduced to their bass note.  Also PM are almost not used in bass, in some guitar genres alot (the ones I'm making anyway) So now I still have to delete (make normal

I use Rocksmith primarily for Bass and am trying think beyond tabs. When playing RS on Guitar it tells you the chord name along with the tabs. Is there a mod that will do the same for Bass notes?   For example, while the "e-string 5th fret" flies by in Red, can it also tell me that it is a A. I feel like this would be a helpful way to passively learn the notes across the neck. It could also help for creating alternate fingerings across the fretboard, as in playing the A on an open A string or 5t

Hi there, Self teaching guitar here and I have a question regarding the #5 chords ie. F5, G5, C5 etc...   In RS they are always shown as using 3 fingers (1-2&3) however with finger 2 I can cover the string and forgo the 3rd finger. Is it ok to continue with 2 fingers or as I progress will that become a problem?

Well i have a little/big problem. I wan't to create a song from a sheet but only have the Chords on it and the BPM and Tuning on the back for the song's. For example the Hm (Bm) chord. (Link at the right moment) http://youtu.be/IR8TJzFwBmk?t=3m21s If i would at it like on the Sheet, it would be sound way to melodic even with disortion. So the question are: 1. Is there a way to create this "normal" into some Powerchords? 2. Is there a way to know what kind of note they used depending on the s

-= HOW 2 MAKE RS RECOGNISE MY CHORDS =-     Sometimes when you play a sequence of chords some are just not accepted by RS even if you (think you) play them perfectly right. A damn good example is this weeks championship beginners song "Girl all the bad guys want" with drop-D tuning.     Now here is my solution to make RS listen to problematic chords. First i tried in riff repeater a couple of times but was not 100% satisfied cos there were still always a few chords unrecogniced... When i wanted
