Some would say I was distracted by the almighty Pantera and they were right.   Can't wait to see what this week's new host brings to the table. As @ cacahuate51  once said 'Thanks for

First scores - Lead

As for diff ratings for these charts, I agree with every single one @ cacahuate51  ratings - wow! 😆

Fun chart to play.

Not a fan of this one.

These double stops bends are defeating me, I play it worse than the score shows...

Ahh this type of chart is always very difficult for me.

Thanks for the new week!

This was really fun to play (and the note detection wasn't all that good, but to my advantage):

Haha, I didn't expect the modulation in the last chorus like some kind of pop band 😛

b2nj068.jpeg

Pff, I just can't play this kind of music. It feels like a bunch of notes without rhyme or reason:

This was really fun as well. Hammering away on a downtuned E string feels really good:

Is it possible to get a 100% in this one? There is a purple section near the end that is just the harmonic tremolo no matter if you hit it doesn't turn green?

not sure tbh, i know i didnt get 100% when testing it.

When in doubt slow down the section you think isnt 100% in rr to confirm if its not. I noticed in the past some charts may include notes but dont put the detect mode on (which is kinda cheating/not saying that happens in that chart).

The important thing is that it sounds good when you play it imo, 100% is just the cherry ontop. If you get high 90s its usually better time spent on another song i think (unless you want to memorise it). That being said dont let vodka beat you hehe

I think that the Bjork song isn't getting updated on the championship chart bass track (not that I'm planning on improving on it 😅 )

Have tried to get better results Chevelle - Wolves (Love & Light) as Lead. Played it a dozen of times. And with no results. Miss and Miss at random places. As usually.

I don't think it really needs to though, cause it is a solid way to play the song and once you get used to the shape its ok (also the reason why i selected it).

I did however make an alternative cdlc incase you want to learn to play it a different way / also cause there's  a limit in paths.

I think it's a bit more approachable (to me) on higher frets, but anything that has me using all the fingers in a quick succession breaks my hand (I tried using only the 1st and 3rd finger midway in the song and it felt better)

But what I was saying is that the results aren't being picked up (at least my 83% wasn't showing up 🤣)

yea most people (and me included) dont use pinky that much. So i wanted to tab it as a pinky  warmup exercise. it uses all fingers, 1 +3 for first notes of the riff and second half uses middle and pinky which can be uncomfortable but still usefull.

The important thing is that it sounds good when you play it, so if you cant with yourm middle+ pinky and dont want practice with pinky then just stick with the normal fingers 1and 3 🙂 or the alt version is also simpler if you want to detune to eb just make sure to mute the open string after you hit the next note

Glad you were able to improve your score!

I am loving this song! Thanks @ cacahuate51  playing along on Spotify is a lot of fun. My biggest goal right now is to improve exactly the techniques in this one so I'll keep chugging away.

Less tears, more 00 00 00 00 000000 @ Vodka !!

I'm so happy I can now play the rhythm paths for a lot of A7X, Bullet for My Valentine, Senses Fail. Dream come true. Thanks to the Championship! 🥹

Yes, definitely a good exercise!

Interestingly, I think I can play the Ghost song much better using all my fingers even though it jumps around more between strings.

Pretty sure i played the solo better than the rest of the song on this one😆

I don't understand why rhythm is higher difficulty than lead on Epilogue.

I dont mind it being the same rating.
From what I remember:
lead lower cause it didnt have much of a solo so I didnt really feel like it should be too high.
Rhythm we dont really get that many "hard" charts so i felt like giving it a 7 might be too low .

had to give chevelle another try since you guys were killing it 😛 it does seem 100%able (i think the tremolo harmonic might be ignored? I did play it and didnt lose streak but the bar stayed purple instead of green so thats the only thing i can think of)

Being a Native Texan, I love Pantera and that swagger they brought to the world of metal.  Unfortunately, I get to this lead part and I feel like I have Kermit the Frog hands

Thanks for the D Standard tuning though - I had to play all the Volbeat songs that make me feel like a hero and then crush those feelings playing some Motley Crue.

bass results
this is killing me entirely i feel my arm is about to explode no matter how i sit, i feel like this would be a lottt easier to 100% in frets 6 8 and 4
