I'd rather not. Half the time I have trouble breaking 90% on Intermediate songs.

Also, sometimes I try playing Advanced songs, but usually I give up by the time I reach the chorus 😛

I've won a lot of weeks this year, but that's more due to the lack of competition than my playing.

I'm just curious, because we're playing three songs on the rhythm path only, even though they also have lead and bass?

I always think we should use all paths of the song we're selecting (with a few exceptions, like long empty spaces without notes, odd tuning, some chart errors, etc.). You can always add them as a bonus. I know it's hard to adjust all diff rattings, so creating a selection for the new week is always a challenge 😉 

 

Not exactly the style i usually play, but still fun.
And difficult.

Starting off with Bass this week.

Will improve on this, not crazy hard with the repeating pattern, just the stretch on the hands was getting to me after Rush.  

 

Rush are in the top of my all time favorite bands and this is a banger.  Was surprised at the almost 97% - I guess when you have heard it 100's of times, it is in your brain and that helps.

Billy Joel songs have some fun bass lines, always moving.

This one is in fact going to be the hardest for me to get 100%, chugging a single note is so easy to get ahead of the beat and get misses.  Especially with feed back on score attack, if you try to slow down or speed up when it says your timing is good, you end up missing.  Almost need to close your eyes and just play.

Good song selection. Here are my first results on bass.

I don't know if I'll be doing much this week as I'm having some discomfort and slight pain on my palm and will try to get some rest... Even though Summer of 69 was one of my first songs that I learned to play on the acoustic guitar, so it will be hard to resist 😅

This one was odd. Had to restart several times because it wouldn't detect the open E...

OK, so I couldn't resist... 🤣

I always thought it would be power chords, but this way was very similar to how I played it

does anybody else have a problem with opening April Wine - Sign of the Gypsy Queen?

RS stuck on load screen for me every time (two speakers on the sides, my guitar sound still there and waves from speakers showing up when strumming)

@ kayteck  is other cdlc working?  When I have run into something similar, I have to reapply the rocksmith patch thing.

Hard for beginners. Lead is hard too (but ok for Adv I think). The bend of base on 3rd fret of 6th strings is always won't be detected for me 😄

Where's [Little lead thing at the end]? Seems like it's easier of AC/DC on Rhythm.

everything else working fine

i have the latest patch installed

RS song manager does not apply repair to the file, so it reads the file fine, so no idea what may be wrong

 

Hi! Been lurking for a while here but really enjoying this Lynyrd Skynyrd song so this will be my first submission. My first attempt at One More Time, 99.10% accuracy playthrough here: https://youtu.be/MprHohZFaaU. Not happy with it and definitely want to get a proper play on it but my hands are supposed to be resting so not sure I'll be able to this week.

Edit: Also am I supposed to leave the ending/score screen on the video? I cut them off for 'listenability' on my channel but it has the Rocksniffer accuracy on screen.

Welcome @ mattimatti , you need to post a screenshot of the score screen here in the messages.  You can capture a screenshot with F12 in Rocksmith. I upload to steam and then copy and paste the link here.  Others post to a clip service like Imgur or similar and paste the link here.  Just don't upload directly from PC to here, it will fill up your attachment space very quickly and then you will need medicine for the headache created.  Don't ask me how I know.

 

ALSO - April Wine hangs up my RS like the others.

 

Both of these songs are in the same difficulty range. AC/DC is beginner diff, it just seems that Rocksmith is extra sensitive about hitting that A chord exactly and the bend on the G to A it wants to be persnickety.
