If you have played a good beginner song or masterclass rhythm lately do suggest them here  (click the sentence to go to the url link/ submit area or you can post in the forum here as well idm) 🙂  as they aren't that many in those categories.

Also we are in (R)ocktober 🤘 and Halloween😈  is coming up so feel free to suggest any songs that you'd think would be appropriate. I am sure rodman has already a couple songs in mind since he'll be hosting that week but that doesn't mean we cant have more Halloween themed suggestions/ weeks 👻.



No theme related week this time just songs from the Suggestions  list 

I chose and tested randomly a couple in each path and thought these were the better made ones. Juneau cdlc is a bit old but i think it does the job fine.

Would be nice to know your guys opinion/ feedback of difficulty levels.

For the beginner song  I know we usually avoid bends so i might make it a 4 and beginners will just have a intermediate song for the week i guess..but the rest of the song is pretty simple hence why i put in beginner...but do let me know

I think it's also important to mention, if you notice any errors/ spot anything that the creators could fix or if you simply just enjoyed any of the cdlc, do leave a comment in their Cdlc page/ Ignition as well 🙂  That way it can be a better experience for everyone, and Imo this should be done every week.

Thanks @ cacahuate51 for the varied and fun selection of songs - and I've only tried three so far and have several more to look forward to!   As far as suggestions gor beginner songs,  one of my all-time favorite easy songs  - I think it's beginner on all tracks, but I'm not really good at rating difficulty - is Breathe by Anna Nalick.    I first heard it on the soundtrack of the romantic comedy A Lot Like Love , and it's stayed on my driving playlist ever since ...  apologies in advance if you're not a fan of sappy songs - or sappy romantic films...

I personally love sappy songs and looking at the movie sound track/ trailer seemed like it had a decent selection of songs. Don't really watch romantic movies my self but surprised i didnt know about this movie since i have seen quite alot of ashton kutcher movies (like the butterfly effect, hey dude wheres my car, etc).

Also based off rodmans comment seems like it has been in competition before, week 450

I can't believe i was still participating back then...2 years...wow time flies. Also, didnt remember joe bonamasa being in the competition.

Generally I'm not in favor of capo weeks (because they tend to be old cdlc ) But, there are a couple of newer people participating here that might have missed out on good songs and sometimes the cdlc do get updated. Luckily Djpavs also created it and hes one of the more active/ decent creators imo.

We'll see, if i dont do a capo week (songs from various weeks, or just 1) maybe someone else will or i guess it could just be for a beginner song if none are found.

@ Goan Peng  Hey! I just got a message in the script saying i should put you in a class. Looking at the classifcations here:

you are currently only listed in lead Advanced... and i thought that was odd cause  i remembered seeing your name quite a bit.

I did some digging since that didnt seem right
not sure what happened, cause you have participated and won in begginer bass in week 539 forexample

so you should atleast be begginner there but my guess is you are intermediate bass cause you got a 98+ in intermediate bass
 

 you've also gotten alot off 98s+ in begginer class for lead in the past for example one of the weeks i hosted:

 You got 98.74 (very close but not 99 for promotion) on a hard 3 begginer song. My guess is you didnt get the win anouncement in week 569 because you were registered as advanced in lead instead of beginner... So instead lowender took the win with 89.% (but it probably shouldve gone to you)
or

99+ on a begginer 4 here which technically would make you intermediate if you wish, but it looks like you posted after the week was done. so im not sure if the promotion still applies but is also why lowender won again with a far less percentage than you.

From the posts I've seen you mostly post begginer/ intermediate and i havent seen an advanced song ( unless you or it got deleted?) soo i dont see why you would be in advanced

Damn yea, I didnt even really check who suggested the songs. It probably should be something that i should be more conscious of so thanks for spotting that out.

I should also stop picking one of my suggestions as well (especially since its probably gonna get moved to intermediate anyways XD) I just know Palms has put alot of effort in that whole Ep, uses lots of references and he even went to see them live to make sure he tabbed it how they play it. 

I will mention there were a couple of yours that were conteders ....it was a close call. like  alien tears dont put out the fire, and i had y and t lonely side of town being the choice. Probably wouldve been more balanced if i did...

there's just a lot of songs in the int / advanced suggestions and not so many in the others,

Anyways, I will try my best to keep it in mind for the future though🙂

@ cacahuate51 I havent post any Lead Advance Songs before.

I think Lead Begginer,Rhythm Begginer,Bass Beginner  are suit for me, as your recommended, thanks.

my account has been registered years ago but i didn't participate this championship until week 539, that may cause this odd?

Even though I prefer playing lead, I decided to join the rhythm section as well!🙂

I can probably improve some for this but those sweep-pick sections are not for me. As I was promoted to masterclass last week I am getting my ass kicked straight away lol!

I think i may need to refret my SG... 

How does even the difficult work... i think i need to improve the simple things

Nice song, but the level is so much higher than my playing

I think i can improve on this solo, i really should start training more on this subject 

Amazing song, have to improve on the "strange chords", other than that i think i can get better 

And this is why i think i may need a refret, failing into so many bar chords that i am playing just right, jumbo frets here i goq

Overall i just need to improve, not feeling great about my playing in the last months and i am not seeing a lot of improvements, time to change that

@ Goan Peng  You are now placed in Beginner in all Paths (Lead, Rhythm, Bass) 🙂. Great job on the scores! You actually also even beat the players competing in intermediate Bass that week. When this happens you get to decide if you want to be promoted to the class or stay in your current class (Beginner) Both options are valid.  


@ Vodka  Congrats on the win for Beginner Rhythm! Apparently you also got the same as score as direct3r, 81% but with a higher streak 33 vs 10 which would've made you the winner of week 571 intermediate Rhythm class if you were in it. If you wish to be promoted to Intermediate do let us know, if not that's perfectly fine as well 🙂

interesting i thought it was around the same lvl as nestor but looks like maybe not. I am curious how much you do in the master track song, any chance you'll give it a shot?

This was probably my favorite, really nice to listen to and fun to play
