Hey, guys, I'm new here, and I wanted to make a few charts and when I try and run EOF.exe I get a few errors claiming I am missing the following DLL files along with some System Error messages. I simply dragged and dropped EOF unto a folder that I made on the desktop. Would this be a contributing factor to why it's not working? Would I have to drag and drop the folder with the EOF files unto my C: drive? Is there a way to obtain these DLL files and if so, where would I got about installing them? Hello, When i try to import lyrics from a midi file in EOF, the lyrics are not placed on the beat. To avoid this problem in EOF, i must set the tempo with the same tempo as in the guitar pro file which was used to create the midi file. After that i import the notes with the gp5 file, and only after i can synchronise the tab to the music. My problem is that if i want to modify the lyrics and import it again in EOF after the synchronisation, the lyrics aren't automaticly placed on the beat. Does anybody know how to import lyrics from midi file after having synchronised the tab to the music? thanks for your help

Hello everybody. There is this one piece in the song "The Brain Dance - Animals As Leaders" that I have been having trouble learning, so I wanted to turn it into a cdlc to help me kinda visualize the tabs better. Unfortunately, the part im trying to learn is towards the end of the song, and there is a lot of BPM changes before it. When I put the tab in EOF, I can never get the part of the song im trying to learn to be synced with the audio because of all the notes before it and the BPM changes in the tab. Is there a way I can apply mid-song BPM changes in EOF, or is there a way I can cut all the notes before the piece I want to learn in EOF? I would just go and edit the o…

Hi, I could need some help with a custom song that keeps crashing Rocksmith. I don't know if the EOF file already has the error in it or it is from later in the process. Here is a video of the crash (at the end where the video suddenly hangs): But even during the song there are errors lighting up where at that moment no notes should be played (because of song level). I am using eof hotfix (1-14-2020) If I select the "Mute:String" option under "Edit Pro Guitar Note" menu and press "Apply", everything works as expected. After I press "OK" the string mute status goes away.

Hi, The following files are generated from GPA and exported into EOF. There is a warning that says that there is a beat before the start of the audio and these beats will be omitted fromt the import. What does that mean? At the beginning of my CDLCs, I generate some silene in order to do the clicks before the first note. What happens is that the song is synced correctly, but everything starts at the second beat of a measure. So it's all off by 1/4 note, which looks weird in game play. Hello all, while digging deeper into the EOF settings while tracking down an error (Rocksmith crashing) I found this settings under preferences and I don't know, if they are correct. There is this section "Input method". And it has the entries: - Classic - Piano Roll -.... In my EOF "Piano Roll" is selected. Is that correct? I am working on a guitar project. Or what does this setting mean? Best, Adrian

Hi, I'm not sure how you call this, but I'm trying to do a quick slide from one note to the next on bass. I use Guitar Pro to do my editin. I though "Slide from above" would do it, but it doesn't give the result I want. What I'm looking for is this: https://youtu.be/MXvhLakjMqo?t=10 That quick slide from G to G#. I have a lot of these so if it's something that can be fixed in GP7, I prefer that solution. If not, then I'll do it on EOF. Thanks, L

Over the past few days I've been ripping my hair out trying to learn EoF and this is my latest issue. I want the open B note to sustain past the G and nothing I have tried has worked. so I have a gp7 tab converted to gp7 (in guitar pro 7.5) but once imported in eof (1.8RC12 + hotfix) only 3/4 of the tab appears in eof I also tried to convert the tab with tuxguitar and either I get the same result or the tab is stretch to 5/4 of the song I have idea why it's the first and only tab to do that I forgot to mention that once converted in gp5 the tab is correct and it's only in eof that their is 1/4 missing also the tab is correct because it comes from the band itself

I want to create a CDLC to learn a specific song. I have found a Tab file and used osu! to get the BPM. In osu! it seems the BPM are perfect, so I put the BPM into Editor on Fire and imported the song. At first it seemed just fine, but at a certain part of the song (https://youtu.be/_QEvf3OFL0E?t=52) it seems to get out of sync with the notes despite the beat being fine in general. I don't really know what to do. Is there an easy way in EoF to copy and paste multiple notes? because I could probably fix the riff somehow but I am too lazy to tab everything out from that point when I have an almost perfect tab file. Will share the song of course when done. thx!

How do i change handshapes in this program? I've been looking on google for past 2 hours and nothing came out of it. Can anyone make a simple tutorial on how to setup the handshape for a SINGLE note? Does any other software exist for charting for rocksmith?

Is there a feature in EOF to edit the HARM1 HARM2 HARM3 notes? My workflow is to paste PART_VOCALS into HARM1. Then using the 2nd piano roll lineup the call and answer between HARM1 & HARM2 and again between HARM1 & HARM3 Thanks for all your work in EOF

It's not a super important fix, given how quickly EoF can be closed and re-launched, but I don't suppose there's a fix for all audio disappearing after changing audio devices, e.g. going from headphones to speakers? Also, I did not look through to see if this had been posted about already, so I apologize if this is a repeat thread.

I compiled from the master branch on 1-15-2020 and every time I attempt to generate a spectrogram it crashes. The last two lines of the log before I need to kill the process when it freezes is: 497: FFTW plan generated in 3.757691 seconds. 497: Generating slices... I also used EOF in WINE for a while (before it suddenly stopped working but I think that's a problem with my system) and the spectrogram worked fine if that helps When I launch after I kill the process it does trigger and successfully goes to the last undo state I hope this helps you find a bug, thanks.

Hi everyone, Ive been AWOL from rocksmith and guitar playing for a while due to carpul tunnel but im back and want to finish some CDLC that ive started but when importing the project from ​eof1.8RC10 to ​eof1.8RC12 its not loading up the chart and when i trying to import it from Guitar Pro 5 it says it already has notes already but nothing is visible. Any ideas on how i can sort this out id love to just import the whole project as it only needs small changes then its finished. thanks. Edit Also im getting an error saying OGG Sampling rate is not 44.1KHZ song may not play back at the correct speed in FOF. how do i sort this too?

As you can see in the image below, there's notes that are in brackets with a slash on top (pardon my ignorance if there's a technical term for it) and whenever I finally went to add finger positions, it wouldn't let me add them. https://imgur.com/a/K0z6w8H After going through the process to make it playable in Rocksmith, none of these notes in brackets were there for me to play, instead only the ones highlighted in colour. And again, as I mentioned, attempting to add the finger positions to these notes didn't work. So, what am i doing wrong? https://imgur.com/a/n8nXSjV
