Hey guys!! I'm having trouble importing certain Guitar Pro tabs in EoF, when I import the .gp5 etc, it sometimes says 'The imported track's fret count is lower than notes already in the track. The fret count will not be changed'. Now, this usually happens when I try to import My Chemical Romance songs such as, 'Dead!'. This is really starting to annoy me, so please, if anyone knows a solution, post it as a response.. Much obliged.. -BeastWithMoDz :)

It's not a big deal, but when I switch monitors, EoF turns black, and I have to close it with take manager. I just wanted to mention it in case it's not a known issue and can be replicated. If you need any details, let me know. Thanks! :)

I'm trying to make sure my frethand mutes are in the right place, but they're mixed in with a stream of other 16th notes. Do you think frethand mutes should clap since they're not exactly notes? Also... do you want suggestions here with new topics for each suggestion or mixed in as posts in the main eof releases thread?

For some reason on my laptop i can't use the scroll action on my touchpad. I tried an actual mouse and that works but on a laptop i don't want to use a mouse. It use to work but suddenly it stopped. I tried a fresh install of EOF and still no luck. Any idea?

I want to convert Rocksmith 2014 DLC and CDLC into MIDI files to use with Synthesia. I've been told that EOF can export to MIDI, so I've been trying to figure it out. Here's what I've done so far. I've got the RS Toolkit and EOF both installed. I've used the RS Toolkit to unpack swinglifeaway_p.psarc I've located the bass, lead, rhythm, showlights and vocals XML files. When I first open EOF, the Rocksmith Import function is greyed out. If I choose File>New it asks me for an MP3 or ogg file. I tried selecting the tutorial.ogg file, and then I was able to access Song>Track and chance it to PART REAL_BASS. Once I was on PART REAL_BASS, it let me use File>Rocksmi…

I have a few harmonic notes on the 5th and 7th frets in the intro of the song, they are defined as 'Harmonic' in the Edit note dialog. They show as harmonic notes in RS but not recognised when I play them by lightly touching the strings on the 5th and 7th frets. They are recognised if I play them as normal notes, i.e. if I fully press the string to the fret. There are a few harmonics in the outro on the 12th fret, those are registering ok. But the 5th and 7th harmonics are not recognised most of the time. Guitar is in tune. Am I doing something wrong? That particular track is also using Toolkit's DDC if it makes any difference.

Hi, I keep getting "could not add leading silence (error 6)" when I try to put in a leading silence of 3000 milliseconds. Any ideas on what is wrong?

Just asking if it is possible to do a single note handshape for a series of notes (in which if combined will turn to a powerchord). It's like an arpeggio but with white highway sidelines instead of blue/purple, usually used in bass arrangement in some official songs: http://i.imgur.com/lCKEWZR.jpg Tried editing the xml file but no luck. No handshape appears on normal notes, and black notes (Crazy) gives off purple sidelines, same as arpeggio. Tech note also didnt work (tried using ghost & ignore).

Everytime I try to import a Guitar Pro file. I updated to the newest version and the newest Hotfix, I can't import ANY guitar pro files, even on songs I had previously done, I went back and tried to import guitar pro files that I know work, and EoF still crashes. at the moment it has pretty much put my song making to a halt.

I had an issue transporting a GPA or GP tab (Korn - Prey For Me). I did very well the sync but when i transport the GPA or GP file, i got a lot of missing notes (The main riff), there's any way to prevent this?

Hey I'm trying to make my first cdlc but I'm abit stuck.When I tried to import my arrangement xml file, I noticed there wasn't any and saw that my "Real guitar files" weren't Xml but just an ordinary .eof fileAll help is welcome.

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to put in what is normally called a return bend, but Rocksmith calls them pre-bends. How would I go about doing this? My plan was to put a regular bend upwards, then link it next to a pre-bend. Help please?

Error- When I try to fret a string higher than fret 17 on the low E string, it turns into a muted string note. Help please?

So the custom I'm working on has a long passage where trying to chart accurate tab is pretty near impossible -- I'd like to set this area as kind of a freestyle zone where the player doesn't have to worry about getting misses and can just have fun jamming with it. I've learned there's an ignore function that sets it so Rocksmith won't pay attention to certain notes. I suppose I can go through the whole section and set each chord/note to 'ignore', but is there a function that will allow me select the entire section and apply 'ignore' all at once? Is 'ignore' only available through the N menu?

I completed a song, imported the lic and it worked flawlessly. Went onto a completely new song, tried to import a lic which is identical (different lyrics) and it fails. I was not able to find any documentation on any requirements on what the file should have inside of it. Can anyone comment on this? Hi, I'm new to creating customs and was wondering how to get lyrics for a custom I was working on with EOF. Thanks, Sam :)

I created phrases and sections in EOF, when I test it in Rocksmith, some of the sections I created can't be selected. What I mean is: Let's say we have sections [1] [2] and [3], when I'm in riff repeater, it won't go from [1] to [2], instead, it goes [1] to [3], ignoring [2]. Why [2] can't be selected? Thank you.

A weird thing happened to me while I was syncing a song. I pressed the go to beginning button for a short period and moved it while still holding down on it and all the notes moves forward 2 Bars. I tries to repeat the action anti see I'd I could reverse it but I only managed to move it further forward I stopped when I got to bar 29. Ithoughtvit was a glitch so I saved and exited but it wasn't a glitch it saves it on bar 29. That is the notes start in bar 29. Is there's way of reversing this.
