Can't seem to work our how to slide up from an open note. This just gives me a "?" symbol underneath the slide. Any tips please?

I thought I was making good progress understanding how to use EoF and producing CDLCs, having looked at quite a lot of tutorials available here. One of them recommended using "highlight non grid snapped notes" to check how well aligned things were, but I realise that I don't understand what exactly it is doing. I have (1) started my EoF project and loaded in the mp3 for the song I'm working on, (2) turned on the waveform graph, (3) loaded the .gp5 tab into EoF corresponding to my guitar part, (4) adjusted the bpm to the correct value, and (5) dragged the first note to the right place in the song. A few questions about the Fret Hand Positions command: 1) I keep getting these weird things -- like notes being changed when I KNOW I'd already checked them for accuracy. Now I'm thinking this has something to do with the fret hand positions -- maybe I just don't understand all the warning prompts when I'm trying to save (more on saving later). I don't remember the exact dialogue, but when the fret position warning pops it gives me an either/or question (something about regenerating fret positions or adjusting notes) with a Yes/No response (which is part of my confusion, causes a logical brainfart). I know how to have a slide end on a specific note but I have seen a few charts that the slide just kind of shows a curl after the slide starts and doesnt really show a specific note to end on it seems like it leaves it to your judgement. How do you make that appear in game that way? This would be helpful because alot of the songs I do dont tab out the slides and I kinda guess what they are stopping at.

Hi all, I'm working on a song that sounds to me like it has a tremolo (wammy) bar that dips lower in pitch, and then goes higher. Is there a way to chart this in EoF? I imagine I could use a bend to chart the higher pitches, but EoF doesn't allow negative bend strengths. How would any of you in the CF community here chart this? Thanks for your help, Tysylio

I am planning to create CDLCs for a number of fingerpicking songs. It would be an obvious benefit to the audience to be able to show the fingering of individual notes, at least one time for the initial riffs. I have searched the forums but I have not found advice on how to indicate fingering for single notes within EOF. Is this even possible? (I know how to do it for chords.)

Hi, for convenience I'm trying to use a laptop for working on songs in EoF, but the laptop is Windows 8. When I try to run EoF (r1375) it takes over full screen and I can see the basic menu functions, but the mouse doesn't work. I need to task manager the process to a halt to get rid of EoF. Is there something I need to do to get it working? I just copied the install folder from my main pc, so all my options will be set to that, but it's only set to 1024x768 so I don't understand why its going fullscreen and I have no clue as to why the mouse will not work. One of my current pet peeves is the inability to add the exact amount of silence to keep the bpm the same when I've got everything synced up, but when I reset offset to zero, it adds whatever other bpm in front, which totally fucks up any gp5 imports I do later. Any way to just tell either gp5 imports to stop following the eof beatmap OR stop moving my freaking notes when I drag the first BPM line OR add a function to eliminate the problem entirely by combining it with the insert silence function to insert whatever is + whatever extra needed to maintain the bpm?
