Hi all, So one of the joys of learning a song in RS is to see an intimidating flurry of notes and then with some Riff Repeating, certain patterns become obvious and the impossible becomes possible. What I prefer to do when creating a custom is give the user cues on how to use the optimum strategy to master a phrase. Example on my current custom is this. This may seem like a stupid a question but, how do you view display the sections that you have created in EOF? I have created a bunch but can't see where they start and end. I am sure there is a key press to see them but I have no idea what it is. - Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, Is there a way to insert a note every eight beats? I am trying to create my beatmap before I import my tab, that way everything will be in sync when I import the GP tabs. I tried creating a simple tab with a quarter note every eight measures, but when I realign that, it,s as if it's a "layer" above the base beatmap. So Im trying to recreate the same thing directly in EOF without actually putting something manually every two measures. Any ideas? Thanks, L

I'm working with the 10-24-15 version and everytime on import EOF apply the crazy status on some note where it's surely not needed. I've tried deactivated the option to "apply crazy status on chord separated by a rest" but that changed nothing and it doesn't justify the fact that the crazy status is applied to single note too. This also create some overlapping sustain that wasn't even written in the tab i was written. This happen to every single tab i tried so far and on every single part. The crazy status is always applied to the same note on each import so there's a logic behind it but i have trouble understanding it and that forces me to get rid of all crazy stat…

Recently I've been doing a lot of using EOF and the toolkit to transcribe bass arrangements in exotic tunings (Drop C, Eb Drop Db, C# Standard, etc.) into B Standard for use on a 5 string bass. This generally works well. Open up the audio in EOF, import the Rocksmith arrangement, change the tuning, and EOF gives the option to automatically transcribe notes. That works great for many songs, but it always tries to keep notes on the same string. Sometimes, that makes chords/double stops impossible (without tapping I guess) due to the gap between frets getting too large, or can make sequential notes where you play an open string followed by something high up the fretboa…

Hey everyone, this is my first post here. I'm fairly new to CDLC, but after a couple weeks I think I get the whole process pretty well. I'm still getting used to Editor on Fire, especially since most tutorials revolve around importing Guitar Pro tabs while I prefer inputting the notes directly into EOF. I understand beat mapping, sustaining notes, bends, slides, fret hand positions, tech notes, all that good stuff. There are some things I have a few questions about though: 1. Hi there, I'm working on a custom and want to add leading silence... when I add 3000 ms (no re-encoding) the chart gets somehow shifted and nothing works any more... I downloaded the hotfix - it now tells me that the leading silence operation has failed. Has anybody experienced this and maybe knows a solution? Thanks!

Is there anyway to adjust the volume of sound playback in EOF? It is always 10 times louder than everything else and I have to turn my volume in windows almost to 0 or its blaring loud. Its a small nuisance but it would be nice to be able to adjust that and im not sure why its that much louder.

Hi, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but... How do I adjust tempo without affecting notes before it? I tried moving the --> around but it moves the notes before it too. I tried deselecting "adjust notes" in the BPM change menu and that made it work for one beat only, which is not what I want. I would like to adust a few bars, then a few others, and so on. Is there a way to do this?IImported my tracks from GP5 (exported from TuxGuitar). In the song I'm tabbing (from the 70s) there is a spot where there is a silence, but the beat is not starting at the right location. EOF constantly crashes when I try to import this gp5 file. First time I have problems importing a file, and I checked with a different song I'm working on and that file imported just fine. While making the post I was testing a few things and I think it's because I am using Grace Notes On the beat. I changed a part to Grace Notes Before the beat and was able to load that file without a problem. Any idea if this can be fixed? Edit: I think I figured it out already :rolleyes: I'll have to put a note under every bend for it to work. I should make more threads when I get stuck seems like I always figure things out 5min after posting a topic on it :D I'm trying to make a bend (14th fret on low e string) with tech notes where you hold the bend and keep picking the note. But in RS it just shows up like holding the note with a weird fade. The picking while holding the bend is very fast, maybe too fast for RS to properly show the technique? Is there a auto way to do this? I know EoF sometimes asks to apply the fingering to the same chords but that seems to be random, or at least for 'known' chords. I currently have a lot of muted strums, but in EoF some of them have one note in them that is off (in this case on the 8th fret) so they show up too high on the neck compared to the rest of the song. (wich is around the 3rd fret). Is there an easy way to auto-change all of the same muted chord patters to have just open muted strings?

This may be a dump question but Is it possible to, instead of selecting all notes and moving them to align to the music to start, is there a way to move the loaded mp3 instead? I'm trying to find the easiest way to make sure notes and music are aligned at beat #1. On a side note, is there a way to load a mp3 into TuxGuitar or GuitarPro to verify tab is on beat with the song? Or is really only option trying to hit play at the same time on both th esong and tab player? Thanks, Jeffrey

So I've been using Ultrastar creator all the time for my lyrics and then importing in EoF and adjusting them. Now most of the time the last ~2 sentences of the lyrics aren't shown in Rocksmith when playing. I have no idea why this happens and just accepted it, as it is only a few sentences. But latest songs I made have ~half of the lyrics missing. Does anyone have an idea why this occurs? Maximum word count? Error with some characters? To much sections?

whats the best way to write a chord in guitar pro that includes a single muted string, so it'll come into EoF properly? guitar pro doesnt have a specific way to notate a single muted string. you can mark an entire chord for palm mute. i tried a 'dead note', but those dont seem to come into EoF at all. a 'ghost note' does, but then i have to go in and switch them to muted strings for each and every chord. its not the end of the world, but if theres a smoother way, it would help a lot with some songs i'm working on right now.
