Since I don’t know if I’ll have anymore time this week, I might as well post my results now and see if I’m able to get better results if I have time tomorrow.

This really show that I definitely need to start practicing and playing arpeggios as I haven't really played them before. Just out of curiosity, when would you say one should start practicing arpeggios? When searching on the web, it says you should start it when you are at a late beginner/early intermediate stage which I think is what my current skills might be so I think that I definitely need to practice on arpeggios more often from now on.

Not much time this week

Some bass normal tuning

This is not 1 because this is not the easiest chart in the world. 1.5/2 is fine.

Just a note that this is Drop D on all path, not E Standard as it says in the post.

Definitely more playable than guitar path, but I lost some % because of those slides...

Is this both a Masterclass and a GoB? I'm a bit surprised. Anyway, this is an undisputed 10/10; in terms of achieving a good sound, this might even be the most difficult bass chart I've ever played in a championship! 😲

had to replay it cause i forgot how it was

Its been so long since ive done masterclass, i thought it didnt show any fretboard but i guess that mustve been in rocksmith 2012

wanted to get 100 but im happy with the plat

yea..

slowed it down in some chord areas and can't get them to detect, also i feel like it misses the hammerons more than it should.
rs mods also said 92 ingame and then gave me 89.89% thought i was tripping so i replayed it

got 91 ingame but the final score said lower again, could also be an rsmods issue...or a me issue...but i rather believed its cursed lol

What a week... Nightcall was fun, and such an ear worm. I haven't tried again so my previous score will be my final post. A note on pitch shift on this one: I tried the RSMod, I tried the pedal tone, none of them helped for this DADG tuning, so I had to "tune" the bass.

Not sure how the RSMod works really: sometimes it does, sometimes comma or period won't do anything, weird.

Anyway, the other two for me this week:

Well this week was certainly something... Safe to say there was a lot of spray and pray on my end, especially on the masterclass attempts!

Took me a few goes to get my head around certain parts but then it sort of clicked and I started to actually have fun playing it. I've been meaning to check out more of their stuff for ages, I've only heard SPIRITS before which is a great song in of itself

I had read a few of other posts about this one before I tried it and yeah, trying to sightread this was mental. At least everyone else is in and around the same score!

God damn that was a madness, I was holding on for dear life in the middle

Another tricky one, I'm using the fact that it was all squished together as my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Again, I got a "Subpar performance!" in a song I had rated 4!!! 🤣🤣

As someone pointed out, this is not suited for the Championship... But I still think the arpegio part is a good practice excersize. I think the guy that composed the song was practicing arpegios in intervals of 4ths (B-E-A-D-G-C) and had the spark to make a song out of it! 😂
